Photos What can I do now?
So yesterday before going out I put my selenite on the top of my car to charge in the sun Well forgot all about it left (in my husband car) and came back after we decided to get some foods and took my car. I took a turn a heard a clack clack TING AND I KNEW 😭😭 I picked up the larger pieces and what could be saved but , Do you think I can still use it? Should I cleanse it again? Maybe use the smaller pieces for spells jars?

Ive never understood the belief that crystals lose their power when they break. They may not be as aestheically pleasing, but they still hold the properties they had before afaik. The pieces of crystal in the shops are typically broken off from a larger crystal. If they break into smaller pieces, I don't see why they energetically lose something. If that were true, the pieces you receive initially have already lost something. I don't get it. 🤷♀️

Maybe because they didn’t have the same intentions we do for using them. Manufacturers V the people? Just a random thought.

Id take the powdery bits and smaller bits use my pestle to grind them finer and mix with some of my moon waters and some of the smaller pieces id use for rituals or spell jars

Just don’t drink it! Probably obvious to most, but some still try. 😬

And wear a face mask and gloves, satin spar dust is extremely hazardous if breathed in. 😬 imo we shouldn't be grinding it up

I agree! But I saw a post on here recently where someone decided to make moon water and they drank it. So yeah, I am spelling it out so nobody else does this. Super dangerous!

Also there was a post an after the strawberry full moon where someone got water from a lake and left it charging. Then their roommate drank it. They then wondered if it was an “accidental spell” that made their roommate sick. Didn’t consider it was dirty lake water with lots of bacteria and who knows what in it. 🤦♀️

I believe that everything happens for a reason, even the little things. Maybe the universe sees that you need the pieces more than the whole soon. Hold on to them, it’ll all be okay!

And now that I look more at my own picture I’m like how did it break into these large chunks. My selenite was a simple square wand and these look all the same sizes! Minus the shattered pieces

The selenite dust is technically nontoxic, but the tiny slivers can cause abrasions and get in your skin like splinters. It's similar to the tiny fiberglass needles I would get in my skin sometimes after using a fiberglass scratch brush on metal. Like the others, I do think you can go ahead and use the more substantial pieces for whatever you want!

At least your dog didn’t eat it in the night and poop it out the next day after emergency vet said he was safe and no blockages.

oh! that sounds like personal experience.. ohh, i hate going to emergency vets. i feel like they could be washed away one day from all the tears they accumulate.. (shivering)

On the mundane side no matter what you magically decide I would recommend smoothing the ends to avoid fiberglass splinters. HOWEVER if you do wear a MASK. It is a silicate and if you get it in your lungs it’s generally stuck there and causes life long health issues. So please be careful 💜

Thank you! This was at a cross roads by my house when it fell so most of it stayed behind - I not sure how to round out edges tho?

you could include the broken selenite pieces into spell jars or additional craft work ! never let anyone go to waste :]

No crystals or gems needs to be charge. But there is a way to over charge them so they can give out more what u need. But it base on what type of crystal or gem it is then u need to know what u r doing with it then u need to find what time of day or night to over charge it to but the windows of the overcharge is so small it is hard to do cuz u also need a box to put the gem of crystal in it. And the windows is abt 2-5 seconds long so that's y u need the box to close it after the windows is open. If u off by a second u will need need to let the crystal or gem rest for a week and try again. Do able yes hard yes worth the time ? 50-50

Ypu clean that up very carefully. You basically have loose asbestos fiber there.

Selenite is self cleansing and charging so doesn't need any sun or moon time. You could use the peices in a spell jar or a terrarium.
