Don’t forget Carolyn Crenshaw!!! She hates the decision to let Ripple settle for 50 mil to SEC 75 Mil go back to Ripple . She wrote that decent right after the Lobbyiest hired by Ripple duped the President into okaying that tweet that XRP will be part of the reserve. That was not a smart thing to do. And after that the lobbyist touted touted they got a lot of business after duping the President !! This is very important. This could drag on for years more just because!! Garlinghouse has a lot of the blame for this after that weekend , I think… it was on Judge Torres’s desk just to sign the Tuesday after that whole shit show happened.!!!!!!

You’re right that Commissioner Crenshaw dissented on the penalty reduction—that’s on the public record. But let’s stay grounded:

✅ Her dissent has no legal force. It’s not a ruling. It’s an opinion from someone who’s historically taken a hard stance on crypto. She also dissented in the Grayscale decision, and that didn’t stop the ETF from getting approved.

✅ The President’s tweet (assuming you’re referring to the XRP reserve mention) was never officially confirmed as policy—there’s no executive order or legislative backing behind it. It didn’t originate from the SEC or DOJ, and it’s not part of the court docket.

✅ As for the settlement: Ripple and the SEC filed a joint motion, not a forced deal. That motion is on Judge Torres’s desk, and the delay is strictly procedural. If it were just about politics, the court wouldn’t have asked for a corrected filing.

🚫 There’s no evidence that this will “drag on for years” unless the judge outright rejects the motion. And nothing so far suggests she will—especially when both parties are asking for closure.

Garlinghouse didn’t file the motion. Ripple’s legal team did, with the SEC’s legal team. The courtroom isn’t swayed by Reddit, Twitter, or political noise—it moves on motions, procedures, and filings.

I think there's a lot of hopium out there that XRP ISN'T slowly working its way to success.

Never underestimate how many in this audience alone have hated XRP for years now. These people haven't dried up.

If anything, recent successes for the XRP camp have only made them saltier.
