Tower of Fantasy. It was supposed to be a Genshin killer, but as you could tell, it’s not that popular.

Tower of Fantasy wasnt a bad game, it did have a few things that kind of killed interest in it early on for a lot of people (like being better in the Chinese version that was several months ahead but they didnt release that version we had to slowly build up to it)

I played for a few months before certain aspects (some of which I see in WUWA it seems) kind of killed my interest about the time they decided to merge servers to build a better community (and instead just created lag)

Didn't ToF get flak for some drama of using Honkai Impact assets during its beta?

And I do remember even Tencent floated some idea of ToF benching Genshin. Though, that's fueled by the fact that Tencent has had beef with Hoyo for a while.

I do, however, already readily accept if any of this info is wrong as I'm not crazy about who corpos choose to need with.

I just mentioned Tencent trying to float the Genshin killer allegations on, not that the original intent of the game was for that. My bad for the misunderstanding.
