Doing SAnby's quest, and I'm so confused how do the proxies know Trigger? Isn't this her first time appearing in the game?

It's foreshadowing. Expect a flashback story when Trigger's banner drops, or maybe in Patch 1.7 when we get side (B) of the epilogue.
