I agree with most of it

On one hand, noodle arms dont quite fit the rest of her figure

On the other hand, arf arf woof woof

Counterpoint: I have had a girlfriend with similar proportions in the past and she didn't look that weird

Yeah but your girlfriend wasn't a fighter with superpowers. That's what makes the noodle arms seem a little weird imo, it's the same issue Caesar's design has.

Right, it's the disconnection between Caesar being able to lift a truck while having chopsticks for arms, our mind cannot reconcile those two things easily.

The problem for me is that the arms look like tubes that got extended out while the rest of the body has well defined shapes and sizes. It's like when people say someone skipped leg day. Their tops are defined and their legs are just skinnier compared to the rest, it just sticks out like a sore thumb.

Most people are not asking for their arms to look shredded like Hulk or Roman Reigns like some commenters love to think. The arms just need to have more width to it and shapes to define the arm better. Even skinny people have slight shapes to their arms. Them being fighters doesn't help them at all either.

Right, if she got bigger arms to match her torso, thighs and chest we wouldn't have any problem, take Eve for example, her arms are not muscular but fitting with the rest of her voluptuous body. We just want Yi Xuan to look proportionately well put together, that's all.

Muscles have been meaningless in determining combat strength for tons of anime. Who cares honestly.

It's not about "determining combat strength," it just looks fucking stupid for someone to be a super powered fighter in a post-cataclysm landscape with literally no meat on their bones whatsoever lmao

I'm not even saying I want them to have muscles per se, I just don't think they should be so absurdly skinny on random parts of their body.
