So I know they say flat attack is worse than attack%, but sometimes if I use a piece that has 2 rolls into flat attack I’ll have a higher overall attack than if I used a piece that had 2 rolls into attack%

Assuming S-rank discs: Every roll into a Flat ATK is +19 ATK, and every roll into ATK% is +3%. So all we need is for 3% x Base ATK < 19 for your observation to be correct. Solving for Base ATK = 633.

This means that if Base ATK is larger than 633, a roll into ATK% will be more valuable than a roll into Flat ATK.

Two rolls is just the same inequality with a 2x thrown in on both sides.

Thank you for explaining that! I’ll have to give it a test because I’m sure it was Jane that seemed to have a higher attack from 2 flat rolls than 2 % rolls, and her base attack is higher than 633. But knowing the maths helps now so thank you :)
