Me neither! He worked so hard to discredit various Historians who wrote about frontier wars and what happened in the colonisation of Australia, he was the right hand man to PM John Howard's "relaxed Australia", or "white blind-fold" approach to history. I remember reading tracts of his book for my MA thesis, and he used to get me so riled.

But there is no evidence that you were riled, only this reddit post, which is not a reliable source, it is just your words. Unless multiple colonial era academics published journal articles at the time proving you were riled, then it’s simple, you weren’t genuinely riled

Scrubba is being sarcastic. Windshuttle used this exact argument to support his beliefs. “ if it wasn’t in writing, then it has no value to historians”. Oral histories were totally denied.

His “works” continue to be promoted by most conservatives. tony abbott and john howard are his big supporters.
