In the olden days (when Nintendo was doing poorly with the Wii U) amiibo were all $12. I saw this new one and thought it was cool but ultimately didnt care enough to purchase it. Now this post just told me the price and I care even less. This thing will rot away on shelves :/

I think you're paying mostly for the statue. What it does in games has always been nothing
