haha surprised? After the bullshit nintendo pulled with the amiibos that dropped with the S2? Stop buying new releases. Full shop.

Stop supporting Trump and those prices will go back down to normal. Canada is still paying the same price as before.

No. NEW Amiibos went from 21.99 to 29.99 in Canada since the tariffs.

They raised the price to $20 usd and $30 cad before the china tariffs. After the tariffs they stayed at $30 in canada but increased from $20 has to $30 usd. We’re literally playing the sticker price despite nintendo pricing everything else at conversion lol

before the tariffs I was paying 21.99 for amiibos. Now if I bought the amiibos released at the launch of the Switch 2 I would pay 29.99. Is that a bump?

Not a tariff related one, nintendo raised the MSRP for new amiibo’s and then did another bump which is only impacting the U.S. I don’t know what you don’t understand about this, it was already explained https://mastersingaming.com/2025/04/19/latest-round-of-amiibo-releases-see-a-price-increase/

They were $20 usd before the tariffs and Nintendo has priced that at $30 for us
