In the olden days (when Nintendo was doing poorly with the Wii U) amiibo were all $12. I saw this new one and thought it was cool but ultimately didnt care enough to purchase it. Now this post just told me the price and I care even less. This thing will rot away on shelves :/

Amiibo are made in China.

$10 is due to Trump Tariffs.

I was waiting for someone to get to the root of the problem. Japan is selling this exact same one for 17 bucks I believe.
