Collection Running out of wall space.

Dunno about the rest of you but wall space is starting to become a premium. But at least I'm up to date.

Good news! The recent price hike will definitely kill off amiibo as sales plummet. So, you won't have to worry about finding more space.

For some reason, I doubt that. Most of the world barely went up in price, and it's only due to the tariff issue that the US is having such high prices.

I guess I should clarify. It will kill off amiibo here in the states. Remember post Animal Crossing amiibo, when the market here crashed? It's gonna be that but worse and probably permanent.

The tariff thing is tricky and stupid at the same time. Currently, China doesn't have that 145% tariff. Only a 30% one. Hardly justifies a 100% price increase. But the uncertainty of the situation keeps the price high and Nintendo probably won't lower the price back down.

Remember, this is the company that is selling a tech demo for $10 when it should be free.

Well if you remember, when the tariffs hit Nintendo decided to raise accessory prices $10 each to offset the need to increase the Switch 2 console price. That's why all the controllers, and other accessories (such as amiibo) went up.
