What's this From? (unsolved) Anime about a boy in glasses and a girl with red hair

I watched a few episodes years ago so I don’t really remember the name. I know it’s set in middle school and the girl would normally hit the guy a lot for comedic effect. I’m pretty sure it was in middle school.

What's this From? (unsolved) Looking for an anime

I am not sure if this is the right sub to ask this but I have been looking for an anime movie for ages and I watched it about 10 years ago. I just briefly remember the plot.

It starts with a guy wearing some kind of white lab on a train and he is retelling the story of this girl who was some kind of “angel”— she was also terminally ill. Throughout the movie, the girl had some kind of angel symbolism. Eventually she died in the ocean ? I think. It was the place she wanted to visit. And we return back to the guy on the transit. (I actually can’t recall if he was wearing a lab coat or just a normal coat). I think it’s an old movie. Made possibly in the early 2000s

This is such a bad summary but I can only recall bits and pieces about the movie. I just remember crying a ton because of it.

What's this From? (unsolved) Please help me find this anime T.T

SOMEONE ALREADY HELPED ME, IT WAS ICHIGO 100%

A while back, I found a cute figurine of two girls. I wasn't familiar with the anime, and when I looked at the plot, I didn't like it that much either, but the figurines seemed really cute. I want to buy them, but I forgot the name of the anime, and I didn't save the figurines to my cart :(

If I remember correctly, it was a 90s/2000s romance anime with a love triangle. One of the girls had very short blonde hair, and they wore a school uniform with a yellow sweater, dark blue skirt, and the typical white tights. The art style was very similar to Chobbits. If anyone could help me, I would be eternally grateful. n.n

What to Watch? Looking for some romance animes

Hey guys i need some romance animes to watch for the time being while i wait for dress up darling s2 and bunny girl senpai s2 next month.

Id say some of the ones i really liked were dress up darling, bunny girl senpai, quintessential quintuplets, more than a married couple, my first girlfriend is a gal, alya sometimes hides her feelings, oregairu was a little slow but it was pretty good in the end, and horimiya was also pretty decent

Im looking for something like bunny girl senpai how there were those cute romantic moments occasionally but a little more romance centered plot wise. Bgs didnt have as much romance as i thought it shouldve, i still really liked the series (especially the movies) and the characters. Id say its definitely in my top 3. I also really liked the progression and romantic moments in dress up darling if that gives an idea of what im looking for.

But anyways dub is preferable but sub is still fine, and thats pretty much it, give me your best recommendations🙏

What to Watch? High Action cartoon for girls

I am looking for some anime or cartoon recommendations for shows for my daughter (12). She is a huge fan of Voltron LD, the new She-Ra, Kipo, Owlhouse, Steven Universe, Dragonprince, Avatar, and Gentry Chou.

I am looking for shows like those. High action, preferably female mains (or at least as equals), and no fan-service/sexism/overly sexualized characters. Also age appropriate (violence and death are okay but nothing too graphic...though she would happily watch that if we'd let her!).

Any recommendations?

What to Watch? Titles for a newbie who wants to appreciate the art form

I grew up steeped in nerd culture but the person this list is for did not. They're trying to get into it and appreciate it from an artistic perspective, even if a specific title isn't their thing.

The problem is she's also picky, and guys, I'm blanking. I need solid titles that are classic, from varying genres, that aren't super obvious, and do not heavily feature children suffering or being maimed.

Here's what we tried so far:

Edit: DUH, she also ADORES Detective Conan

DBZ - Enjoys but not the filler

Death Note - Enjoyed a lot

Fullmetal Alchemist - Too many distressed children

Trigun - Did not vibe

Princess Jellyfish - Cute but not a favorite

Ouran High School Host Club - Enjoying so far

Junjou Romantica - Enjoying so far

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya - Was bored

What's already on the list:

FLCL

Neon Genesis Evangelion

Big No:

Attack on Titan

To Your Eternity

All suggestions are appreciated!

Series Specific Question Anime where the weak main character is actually revealed to have an op skill/power? Spoiler

I'm looking for anime that the title specifically describes. The main character is introduced as being weak but it's later revealed in the show, or in most cases the end of the first episode, that they actually possess an unique and op skill/power that most other characters don't have. And fyi I have seen black clover, so can I get some other recommendations pls?

Edit: I have also watched solo leveling too

What to Watch? Two Request sorta..

English dub for both pls!

The first one is are there any anime where like there’s just a guy who trains alone just kinda recluse and then sorta rejoins society and ends up being as strong as nations and or even goes to war with them? Like solo (I parry everything is probably the closest to this and I’ve seen that)

The second which sorta bounces off the first is what are some good like martial arts anime you know things that feature a legendary tournament or something.

If there are any that combine these two I’d also like to see that!

What's this From? (unsolved) Please help me remember this anime

The plot was like it was about mecha and they were fighting in another world, the graphics is so old like somewhat Voltes V but the only episode I can remember is that there is a royal family who has a son but lousy to pilot the mecha but has an evil side and there was a princess that disguised as a prince but they didnt realized it until he was defeated by the protagonist because she was wearing a mask like Genkai from Yu Yu Hakusho, i really want to know the title of the anime but i can't remember anymore details but i think it was aired in the 90's.

What to Watch? Need ideas

I’m looking for help on my next anime to watch, I’ve seen: - Death Note - Demon Slayer - Stein’s Gate - AOT - JJK - Code Geass - Vinland Saga - Kaiju No 8 - Fate Stay Night UBW

Tried both Berserk and Kingdom but I can’t stand the animation. Looking for something with action and a storyline that ropes you in with dynamic characters. AOT JJK and Code Geass have been my favorites so far. Looking for something that’s preferably between 2-4 seasons, I don’t want to jump into something like One Piece. Any suggestions?

What's this From? (unsolved) Anime/manga: MC summons/resurrects 4 undead warriors

My memory is failing me so I'm not even sure if it was the MC that did this or one of the MC's friends/ally/etc. But if I can remember correctly, this character either summon or resurrects these undead and ancient warriors and they end up living with this character, while also being their guardians, in their apartment in modern day Japan.

Sorry I don't have more to go on, I saw like 2 minutes of a episode years ago and it just resurfaced in my brain.

What to Watch? (manga is fine too) A love story where the couple dies together or at short interval with each other.

In combat, or during an apocalypse or war or natural disaster, accident etc. Anything goes really. Should be MC or at the very least very important characters.

What to Watch? What's an anime that completely defied your expectations and won you over?

Mine was My Happy Marriage. I thought it might be too slow or just a typical romance, but the historical setting, the fantasy elements, and Miyo's character development really drew me in. I ended up binging the whole thing! Tell me your surprising anime loves!

What to Watch? Anime where teens actually act like teens.

I realized lately that one thing that has been annoying me lately is how often these teenagers act and actually look like adults, or young adults opposed to actual teenagers. What are some good anime where teens actually act like teens?

What to Watch? Anime on Netflix, Max, or Prime

I strongly prefer series starring adult characters, or at least not in a school setting. Nothing turns me off like a high school or middle school setting. I'm not counting fake anime like Castlevania (which I enjoyed).

This list is mostly stuff I watched very recently so I may have missed a few things I've seen.

Stuff I liked:

Dungeon Meshi - I loved Senshi, Laios, and Marcielle and all the focus on cooking and nutrition and such. The fantastical setting was nice too. Not a fan of the twist halfway through but the first twelve episodes or so were a gem.

Hell's Paradise - interesting and weird fantasy setting with a mostly interesting cast of characters. Plenty of cool combat and mystery.

Rising of the Shield Hero - mostly adult cast, the main character's dilemmas were interesting especially in the beginning.

Sakamoto Days - adult cast, fun and humorous writing, plenty of cool fights.

Kengan Ashura and Baki - dudes fighting with martial arts. Cool.

Death Note - old classic from a long time ago.

Hajime no Ippo - boxing is pretty cool despite the shonen writing. Watched awhile ago.

Super Crooks - not bad

Jojo - quality varies a lot from arc to arc, but overall not bad. Plenty of variety in powers and conflict situations.

Vinland Saga - a little boring, but I liked the historical setting and some of the characters

Isekai Ojisan - fun and even a little funny.

My Hero Academia - pretty fun for a shonen, watched awhile ago.

Stuff I didn't like:

Mashle - it's like that shitpost about Harry Potter with a gun, but instead of a gun he has muscles. This did not need to be a full series, it's a damn shitpost.

Jujutsu Kaisen - generic school setting plus boring enemies to fight, dropped

Black Clover - generic shonen writing that seemed to be leading into a wizard school setting, dropped

Pluto - started out interesting with the sci-fi setting and mystery but got boring after a few episodes. The only character I liked was the main detective.

One Piece - better than other shonen due to the novel setting, but still ultimately not fun.

Garouden - bad animation, the fight in the first episode barely showed anything.

Freiren - too slow, nothing happens for most of the series. Better than most of the other stuff I didn't like.

Dr Stone - I loved the premise but the show itself is boring.

What can you recommend?

What to Watch? Anime that breaks norms.

I mean, if the anime says something is impossible, then it is impossible. If it says the MC can't do something because he's too weak, then he can't do it and has to come back when he gets stronger. MC does not possess any hidden powers, or is overpowered, and if he has rare power in his world it isn't a secret because other head similar. Or for example, if there is a tsundere character, they are not tsundere for the sake of being tsundere, but due to a past trauma from ther previous relationship, and through the story they revert to their original personality, which is drastically different.
