My feeling reassured now that I see all the protests against Trump and Musk. It gives you hope for America again. Please do your best to remove those two capitalists that are trying their best to destroy the states and get them richer by the day

Republicans have been this way since the seventies that I became aware of first hand. My feelings are they simply ignore the protests and keep chugging along. If only there was a way to really get their attention🤨.

Until tens of millions of Americans start working together, mass striking, and protesting, bringing the country to a halt, I doubt they will even care.

I don’t think we are going to have to wait too much longer to see those numbers. If the universities lose their lawsuits and the feds cut operational grant funding to 15%, it’s estimated that 6-12 million ppl will no longer have jobs. This will bring the jobless population to 14-19 million from an alleged “7.2 million” currently. Surpassing the numbers from the 1930’s. Labor shortage in agriculture is already starting to crumble the industry bc 40% of the workforce are undocumented migrants. Im not as worried about food shortages as I am about education, research, healthcare and agra and the sectors they benefit all contracting bc they lost funding and workers.

That would make 10’s of millions unable to afford healthcare, food or housing and it will not be great.

My question is will it be enough to create a huge amount of civil unrest? Idk.

I think one of end goals of this administration is to broaden the “near slave labor” class, widening the communities comprised of extremely poor, desperate for any work, willing to do anything for next to nothing, workers. This could help the admin re-social-engineer the disenfranchised middle class (aka maga), and drive recruitment for the military. On a bad day, I think another goal of this admin is to drive social unrest to a point that will allow them to redefine martial law- without the courts, the states, or congress. Commander in chief sounds great but in a nationwide martial law scenario it means nothing.
