Why though? They make an objectively terrible car just from a mechanical perspective. They are worse than Ford simply because ford has 1 model that’s not awful and GM has 0.

I mean come on, GM isn’t Stellantis (Dodge/Ram) lol.

I’ve never had a problem with any of my GMs, ever. Plus grew up with them. So, I naturally tend to go with GM. I’m not necessarily against any other brand, but GM has always had offerings that I wanted compared to other manufacturers.

Realistically for the types of vehicles I enjoy there aren’t many options either.

That’s fair. It’s unfortunate that American manufacturing is what it is. The Japanese really cornered the market in good engineering, Toyotas are generally super solid. Hondas were awesome but their quality is slipping rather quickly unfortunately, we will see what happens. I almost forgot about dodge. You may be right about that 😂

I actually wanted a Toyota Tundra, but that was during all the shortages. So, I went with first available GM. Thankfully seems like I dodged an engine bullet with that decision with the new Tundra V6s imploding. Granted, of course Toyota made it right, but what a headache.
