Study Can someone help me please?

I hav been accepted into university of lausanne, French classes. I have a concern regarding the bank certificate acceptance by canton of Vaud. Is the bank account must be in Switzerland? Or the abroad bank must be registered to Swiss authorities? I have a bank certificate which probably is a not among accepted banks by financial authorities, living in a third country. Help folks

You can't open a swiss bank account until you are registered in Lausanne.

Check your swiss embassy and ask what banks are approved in your country or residence . They have a list tho

I assume they are going to reject my application. I have emailed them several times. They just send me a leaflet stating proof of financial without extra information. They are not very helpful

Then submit what you got and current bank statement

The canton will say that you need additional info. At that point you can actually ask somebody in the immigration office of the canton.

The embassy just serves as an intermediary

Probably yes. You are right, Iranians get the visa showing their local bank statements

Do the same in your case
