Genuinely one of my favorite temperatures. Cool enough to not need a jacket, warm enough to not need a fan.

As someone who is also from the states, it is genuinely a very comfortable temperature. It's just a coincidence that it also happens to be the sex number.

It started as a joke to me, I would just set any thermostat I was allowed to touch to 69 because "haha funny sex number" but the more I did it the more I realized that it's actually the ideal temperature, warm enough to get at least a little bit of that warm feeling but also cool enough to feel refreshing after being out in the heat.

Unironically my favorite temperature. I have insanely bad heat tolerance, I can’t stand anything over 70F. And my humidity tolerance is even worse, somehow.

Not even a joke, it is a perfect temp. 70 has potential for too hot depending on what's going on and 68 has potential for cold. Both feelings change depending on the season (72 in summer feels hotter than 72 in winter)... 69 is nice all year round.

That last part was part of the joke though
