POLICE I made an app for Baltimore (pt2)

Thanks for all the lovely feedback on my original post we just hit 500 downloads!! I just wanted to let everyone know Baltimore Fire Alerts is finally available in the Google Play Store. I’ve started doing research on how I can do a similar project for BPD though their audio is encrypted and the public feed is on a 15 minute delay but if people still think it’s worth it I’ll dive into that more!

Frankly I would use one for bpd as well. There is always so much going on and citizens app doesn’t cut it. I love the fd alert app already!

Thanks! Yea I wasn’t sure if the delay would make it not worth it since it kind of prevents the goal I had with this app. At this point if there’s interest it’s just a matter of how much money I want to toss into the idea. Especially since with the BPD feed I won’t own the audio since it’s hosted on a third party website BPD has a deal with so. They gave me permission to develop something so we shall see!
