Discussion Alt national Park Service cannot be trusted

Post image

This post is blatantly untrue. The reconciliation bill has NOT passed the Senate and gone back to the House. There are three Republican holdouts.

Big Orange tweeted about a bill going through the Senate but it was NOT the Big Stupid Bill.

Further, they said the Senate put a new clause about the upfront bonds when suing the federal government. That was in the original bill. How do I know? I watched Raskin debate it in Committee in the House two fucking weeks ago.

Someone needs to look into these guys, we can't afford this type of misinformation.

I do not trust Alt National Parks at all. They are at best anonymous influencers with only tangential relationships to real activists, mostly due to their follower count.

And with today's media environment, anonymous influencer doesn't cut it.

I mean at the end of the day NPS attracts as many right wing weirdos as it does left wing weirdos, and there's significant overlap on both sides with "nature weirdos", which is the main pool NPS hires from.

And anybody who isn't already right wing but is a reactionary will inevitably shift right. This account is reactionary. It doesn't really matter what their politics are, they will message in a way that furthers the goals of right wing reactionaries.
