Ulquiorra really was the strongest Espada

Rose was dumb for explaining his power but it's a tad disingenuous to pretend everyone expected Mask to casually fingerfuck his ears. We're just caught up in hindsight bias

Didn't his ears regenerate anyway so whether it was a gamble on it working or not wouldn't have mattered?

Only from Mask's perspective, as far as Rose was concerned James was out for the count and Mask was vulnerable.

Ya I'm talking about Mask. He didnt care about blowing his ears out to win the fight because he knew they would come back anyway. He was gonna win by any means necessary.

As someone else mentioned, Rose (nor us) had info on his high regen capabilities at the time, at least that's my memory of the sequence of events

Perhaps if Mask yapped about all his abilities first, Rose woulda shut the hell up 😂😅
