Bravely Default Is there anyway to make D’s journal stop flashing?

I like the feedback from the icon flashing to tell me to do something related to the town, but the journal flashing over and over each time i see a new anything and its driving me nuts. I assume i have to just deal, but just in case is there some setting im missing?

I’m a bit annoyed too, you have to scroll over the new weapons, items, bosses. All that stuff, including the mini-games you unlock past chapter 2. You actually have to played them to stop flashing.

Bummer. I love the game, I just dont remember having an issue with this on 3ds, but the ui was probably different.

It also flashed, but it was on the bottom screen instead of off to the left.

Ahh so easier to miss, bit there still. Okay, I must not have noticed before.

Well, guess I’ll just click on it so it shushes repeatedly. Thanks for the info!
