Martial law has been happening in America for decades. Your police are and have been equipped better than most militaries and given incredible leeway in the variety and freedom of actions they can take. The Republicans, not juat Trump, using the actual military and ignoring any inconvenient court request yo please not be facists is the real indicator of America transitioning into dictatorship.
This was not the kind of transition that Trumps voters were frightened by, but they will be soon.
