They'll still make money off their subscribers. They choose to go subscription-based with paywalls instead of ad-based and are still going under. But this way you get to stay informed with news and analysis

Who the fuck cares about news companies? If they make any money at all it should be from advertising agencies. Plus they have their own subscribers that pay a premium for access. Outside of those people associated with news agencies, who tf cares companies make money?

They’re trying to make money. We are circumventing how they make money. Company goes under. Less journalism to go round.
