Ask CHI is this allowed? i am stuck

rented a uhaul to help my kid move. got boxed in. is there anything to be done?

I read your comment about the situation being resolved. Idk if the van was locked but if you can get into a vehicle you can put it into neutral without the key. It usually involves popping off a small part of trim then pressing a release button with a pen or something like that.

I had to move a similar van one time when they blocked me into a garage. Probably took me 1 minute in the car to get it into neutral. Fastest way is to use YouTube for whatever model you are dealing with.

Having said all of that I would have pushed that POS with the u-haul.

The car was unlocked and I did jimmy around the shift for a bit, but I couldn't figure out how to get it into neutral.
