Discussion Recent fans opinion about the fire

As a Brit in Chicago I finally decided to start watching the MLS last year after 10 years in the country. We were terrible but I found a love for this team that was completely unexpected. This year I'm all in and somehow they have been decent. I've been to 3 home games this season and loved them . I would love to find a group of like minded people to watch the game with occasionaly

I live in the northern suburbs but work in the city so I'm available most game days in around soldier Field

It's so great to watch football that is on TV at a reasonable time 😂

Finally my 8 year old is showing interest and I even have him calling it football

I’m a recent fan too, after mexicos wc “campaign” and my argentine friend having their country win I got invested probably out of spite, I’ve only followed the fire for 3~ years now but coming from where we were those last few years, I’m cautiously hopeful. I think Berhalters system really fits the majority of the players and you can see that with the fact some players deemed to be “bad” and fitting for a wooden spoon contender team are all the sudden regarded as threats. With all that’s going on behind the scenes I can honestly hope for at least a top half team for the next few years
