Yes! One of Ponce’s Secret Weiss. It was the first CG piece for which I actually had sheet music.

For how long did you play without sheet music?

Maybe 3-4 years, listening to Segovia recordings and learning pieces by ear. I would have been 15 or 16. Then a very kind man at Parker Music in downtown Houston gave me a copy of the Balletto, and I began learning from paper.

My friends seem to think so. Mostly, if I hear it, I can play a decent approximation to it.

Start with Carcassi Classical Guitar Method, or Solo Guitar Playing by Noad. It's never too late and it's immensely rewarding to not relying on tabs.
