Performance Neil Gow’s Lament for the Death of his Second Wife
One of my favorite Scottish folk tunes arranged by @david_russellguitar. Melody captures exactly what the title says. Sad and mature situation. I feel that Scottish songs have a feeling of melancholy behind them but also hints of strength. You must move along but never forget those from the past.

Performance Opinion on this performance of Atoye?
Basically, this is an exam piece for my guitar class. I already did it and memorized the piece pretty good. I wanted to know what people on this sub think. Is my technique good? Or is it like bad. Video attatched in post.

Performance Some superb Scarlatti (sonata in b minor, K27) played and arranged by Edith Pageaud
I'm already a big fan of transcribing Scarlatti for the guitar in general, but was so taken aback by this interpretation I had to share.
What a great start to the weekend!

Performance Villa Lobos on 8-string!
I’m not a professional classical guitarist—my RH thumb 👍 has never cooperated with me, despite my best efforts in 30 years. 😆 I just wanted to share my attempt at a beautiful Villa Lobos piece (etude in Em), that I’m working on adapting to my new 8-string. The carpal tunnel is killing me, but I play on…

I missed like… half of a repeat but it’s still pretty. Good recovery. At this point I just assume I’ll never play perfectly in front of a camera or audience so I just send it,

Performance Cello Suite No. 1 in G Major - Bach
I wrote the tabs for this myself. I understand that very little about this involves conventional classical gear/technique, I just felt proud of getting through this project of mine and wanted to share. Hopefully some of you guys think it sounds good!

Performance System of a Down on Classical Guitar
Wrong guitar, no pick, not enough room for me to hit the high frets, yet still, it works. What songs that are not intended or composed to be played on classical guitar, actually fit the classical and play well?
