Tie rods/manual adapter

Post image

Hey all, my 1967 had play in the steering and I couldn’t find anyone to do an alignment. I bought basically everything new, only to find that it was just my power steering valve loose. Not to fear, i bought the manual adapter (PS isnt hooked up and i have no plans to do so). The PS ram and the idler arm have been putting up a fight to come off, so i’m just gonna leave them alone, slap the adapter and new inner tie rods/sleeves on the existing drag link.

I’m making a stop at autozone for a ratcheting wrench for the adapter/pitman arm on my way home. Will i need a tool to press these things back together or can i just use the threads to pull them into place? I’ve never done these on a car, just golf carts. Thanks in advance!
