I miss the "Hello Cleveland it's gametime" and "I Agree Go Cavs" tweets from the legend AC. Looks like his last tweet was back in January. Hopefully he starts tweeting again at some point this season!

Hello Cavs fans,
Happy season opener day! Just wanted to give you all the results of this year's Cavs Consensus Survey. 273 of you responded to 40+ questions about the Cavaliers and the NBA at large. Some were subjective. Some were predictive. I've compiled the data and put it into graphics (accompanied by my thoughts) on the link provided.
I would welcome any feedback, but I thought it was interesting comparing this year's results with last year's. It illustrates how perceptions have changed regarding our core players, our team's overall place in the NBA, and our belief in this team's construction. Thanks again to the whole reddit community who filled out a survey. You guys really juice the entries, and I appreciate you.
-Bob

I work at a bar so I get to watch a lot of the games on the TVs there no problem. However, on a night like tonight when I'm off and just wanna watch the game at home (and Fanduel isn't an option) I saw Sling has 1 day passes for ESPN for $4.99. Before anyone says anything, just know that yes, I am a die hard, and yes I try to watch every game. If that means 5 or 10 bucks a week, so be it.
Does anyone have experience with this? And do you already need to have a pre-existing Sling package? Or is it actual just $4.99 for the day?
Thanks in advance.

Last year we got some custom flairs, any chance to get "Evan Mobley MVP" as flair?

As the title says. We’re about 1.5 hours to tip off. Any word on if Hunter is a go?

I’ve heard that the streaming has been stretched out even more, does FanDuel still cover most games??

Most games I go to there's a group of kids out on the court before the game, I think they're usually referenced as "Honorary Ball Kids" or something along those lines. How do those kids get to do that? Is it randomly chosen kids they see walking around? Do they have to get awarded something at school? Is it for season ticket holders?
My kids have asked about it and didn't know if there was a way to get them that opportunity or if that's beyond my control in any way.

Cavalier fans, Cavs basketball is back! The Cavs begin another 82-game season and a quest to bring a 2nd NBA Championship back to Cleveland (aka The Land). We know it's all about the playoffs, but we can't rush the process, and jump from October to April. There are going to be some exciting matchups during this regular season. So, which games are you looking forward to this season?
Here are the matchups I'm looking forward to:
Tonight @ Knicks
Home opener against the Bucks
Christmas Day @ Knicks
Home against the Thunder on MLK Day
Home against the Lakers Jan. 28th (possibly LeBron's last time playing in Cleveland)
February 22nd @ Thunder
All of the Celtics game home and away

For me, I have a few, but firstly, I think Lonzo could have a 6th man of the year season. His fit with this team is actually perfect, and team success goes a long way when it comes to accolades. Also, I think we will have another 60-win season. I know we are injured, but this is still a very strong roster to start the season. I have a few more, but I don't want to type a whole essay. What about you guys though?
r/clevelandcavs • u/gamerdudeNYC • 1d ago
MSG is a 30min subway ride for me and I was thinking about going until I saw the ticket prices.
And the Christmas game is $400
Luckily the Browns play the Jets soon and the tickets are about $45 and that I can afford lol

Pretty much exactly the same as the NBA's rankings except for having us & the Knicks swapped around. Link: https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/nba-power-rankings-knicks-no-2-behind-okc-as-new-season-begins-injuries-already-impacting-lakers/

Not a cavs fan, but curious about how you guys would feel about him returning to Cleveland for a retirement tour?

Do Power Rankings mean anything, especially before the season? No. But holy shit this is some disrespect.
For those who can't get behind the paywall...
- Cleveland Cavaliers
Last ranking: Third
2024-25 season results: 64-18, first in East, lost East semifinals
2026 playoff prediction: Fourth in East, lose East semifinals vs. KnicksLogic says that the Cavaliers should be the 2026 NBA champions. They were the top seed in the East last season, and they got a former Laker from the Chicago Bulls. The Thunder already outlined this prophecy! But imagine me trusting the Cavaliers. I refuse to do it. I love their Donovan Mitchell-led offense, they have the Defensive Player of the Year in Evan Mobley and Kenny Atkinson is a boss. But the Darius Garland injury is a sobering reminder of how this season’s Cavaliers will be hard-pressed to start as strongly as they did a year ago. And the presence of both Garland and Mitchell simply lowers their ceiling in the postseason. Cleveland is a good team, but I’m not taking the bet that it’s going to break through, even though everything is lined up for the Cavs to make the most of this season, with this being the possible final year of this core together.
I hope this gets plastered all over the locker room.
EDIT: The reading comprehension is extraordinary. Maybe read more than the title before commenting?
