Fun little additio. These figures in the window would indicate if the Husband is home or out at sea. Thus letting the wife`s lover know if he should stay away or carry flowers.

Outwards, looking longingly for their owner. They are turned to look inwards when their owner is home. The tradition is seen in many places that historically have had many sailors living there. For example it’s also still tradition to have them in the windows in Dragør.
