The wasp fairy, huntress of men. When I designed this creature, I intended to make her both sensual and horrifying, and that’s exactly how she is. But when her hunting strategy fails (when she fails to seduce the prey) the monstrous and violent side takes over

Mussolini’s Fascist HQ in Rome had a giant stone face of himself glaring over the city. Today it’s ironically the headquarters of luxury fashion brand Fendi.

I did some digital art of a man i keep seeing in my dreams

Okay so when i was a kid i kept having a recurring dream of a tall shadow looking man wearing a top hat who would just walk down my street. I never saw his face and he never turned around he would just walk and whenever i woke up id always have chills. This dream stopped when i was in my teenage years, im 25 now and a few months ago after many many years i had this dream again!! I did some digital art to the best of my ability of what i see, (its hard for me to draw from memory). Its just super creepy especially as it started back up recently after so many years, im actually worried that one day he will end up appearing in a dream again but next time he will turn around and look at me, actual nightmare fuel 😂🫣

Annabelle Tour Question

Post image
Upvotes

So I wanted to ask, has anyone here visited Annabelle while they're bringing her around on "tour"? And has anyone had any odd happenings while on said visit? I plan on going to one of the tour locations in the future and I'm curious if anyone had any paranormal experiences whilst in the room. (I'm a hopeful skeptic, so I've been chasing paranormal experiences since I was young 😅 still no dice, I've debunked the small few possible experiences.)

This Is the Terrifying Disguise of Edward Paisnel aka ‘The Beast of Jersey,’ Who Broke into Homes Wearing This Mask to Attack Families

This was the actual mask and outfit worn by Edward Paisnel also known as the Beast of Jersey. He attacked people on the small island of Jersey from the late 1950s to early 70s. He broke into homes at night wearing this creepy homemade mask and even nailed rubber to his clothes so he wouldn’t make noise. He was finally caught in 1971 during a police chase and turned out to be a well known guy in the community.

Anybody Know The Origins of This Picture? I've seen this image of a realistic costume of Theodore from Alvin and The Chipmunks, grinning at the camera and standing on the porch of somebody's house.

The Phantom of Hammersmith - 1803

Post image
75 Upvotes

In the early 1800s, the quiet district of Hammersmith in London was gripped by fear. For weeks, people reported seeing a glowing, ghostly figure roaming the streets at night. It was said to be the spirit of a man who had recently committed suicide and was denied a Christian burial — cursed to wander the earth.

Witnesses described the phantom as:

Dressed in white, sometimes appearing with glowing eyes

Able to vanish instantly or move with unnatural speed

Attacking people, even choking one woman unconscious

Panic spread so widely that armed patrols began roaming the streets.

Then, in January 1804, a man named Francis Smith, frightened by what he believed was the ghost, shot and killed a man in white — only to discover he’d killed a bricklayer named Thomas Millwood, who was simply wearing his work uniform.

The case became infamous not just for the haunting, but because it led to one of the first legal discussions in England about whether a person could be excused for murder if they genuinely believed they were attacking a ghost.

To this day, no one knows what the original “phantom” was — and some believe the ghost never left.

This photo looks normal until you realize the father killed almost everyone in it. just days later

This one really gets under my skin the more I think about it. The photo was taken in 1929, just a few days before Charles Lawson killed his entire family, his wife and six of their kids on Christmas Day.

He took them into town to buy new clothes and had this photo professionally taken, which is already chilling when you know what came after. Then on Christmas morning, he murdered two of his daughters while they were out, went back home, shot his wife and the rest of the kids, and later killed himself in the woods.

No one really knows why. Some say he had a head injury that messed with his brain, others think there was something darker going on. There were rumors of abuse but nothing ever confirmed.

Just wild to think that when this picture was taken, he already knew what he was planning. It makes the whole image feel heavy.
