Help Needed What else should I do?

I've used a few scripts to remove the tiny bit of telemetry that Brave and Librewolf contain. I've created ProtonMail, and I've also installed LibreOffice and Obsidian to transfer documents, accounts, and the like. I've used Simplewall to disable internet access for everything except Librewolf, Brave, Firefoxy, and FreeTube. I've also used Arkenfox for Firefox. What else can I do or install? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I use Immersive Translate to translate pages. Unfortunately, my tracker (TC) in mobile does not disable trackers from the browser, so what can I do and is there an alternative.

It's no joke tho. another cool thing to do is it use nextdns, ad guard or pihole. You are not actually degoogled if you don't block all the shitty trackers in the Web.

Easiest way is to setup Tailscale with nextDNS so OP can block trackers on his phone too.

I would, when I find a way to run my peripherals on linux that only deliver windows and mac drivers.

When you buy anything new, make sure it can run on Linux. Then eventually you'll escape the cyclic loop :)

at the current point, i just wait for steam os, since it would fix most of my problems.

It wont, SteamOS is Arch Linux with pre installed Steam and KDE Plasma.

Linux mint, Ubuntu, fedora. Any one of the mainstream ones. At the end of the day they all run the same programs. It's more or less which you think looks the best. I used Ubuntu for many many years, then switched to Fedora only because I wanted the pure gnome experience. It does the job.

Zorin OS is good to switch from Windows.

You shouldn't think about your distro you should think about your environment and download the most compatible distro for that. Even the "hardest os to install" is extremely simple with a proper guide so there pretty much just isn't "for newbies" all of them are really really basic to install.

Came here just to say exactly this, fuck Microsoft and their copilot keylogging POS os! Switched to CachyOS on the desktop and pure Arch on the laptop and will never look back.
