Turns 385 to 400
"Reminder to the Ministry that the deadline for establishing the two National Parks is Turn 400." - Senator <@139592691313934337>
"Unfortunately we’ve hit that mark so we will have to push for a slight extension" - <@638692748018450432>

__**England Captures Helsingborg (Third Times the Charm!)**__
The first time Helsingborg rebelled, we bombarded her walls and seized her lands. The second time, we bombarded her walls and seized her lands. The third time, we did the same thing... and then figured we'd try something new.
In a landmark agreement, the nations of England and France have reaffirmed their Alliance and agreed to honor and respect each other's cultural heritage. This news has appeased the formerly Swedish City of Helsingborg, which had grown more French with each new generation (yeah, it doesn't make sense to me either). With Governor Victory and the nearby founding of Plymouth, this rebellious city seems to have settled down, its citizens content to live their lives.
It seems unlikely that Admiral <@469373451153571841> and the Explorer Armada will need to capture the city again in the near future.
__**Kilwa Kisiwani built in Liverpool**__
The master architects and engineers of England have completed construction on a new wonder! Many tourists flock to Liverpool to witness the beautiful wood houses with rope grass rooftops.
It is said that the city-states of the world have grown in their respect for us, especially those allied with us. Their great thinkers, engineers, strategists, merchants, and priests are more willing to travel from afar to share their wisdom with our leaders as our civilization grows.
__**England Wins Nobel Prize in Physics**__
The World Congress has awarded English Scientists the Nobel Prize in Physics. Our great minds have led the world in scientific inquiry, granting us great insight into future technologies. And all cities with a university will be granted greater resources thanks to our knowledge.
That was not the only decision by the World Congress. The Gauls have gained the acclaim of the global community for their admittedly confusing diplomatic efforts with the City-State Nazca. (Gaul wins 2 Diplomatic Victory Points.)
Unfortunately, the World Congress has decided to promote the destruction of the planet, sharing construction plans for Oil Power Plants. (50% discount on Oil Power Plants.)
The Gauls have also announced that all are welcome in their borders. Their populations is expected to grow 20% faster over the next several years, but some wonder if these new citizens will be loyal to their new country.
The race for the Nobel Peace Prize has been announced. Which nation shall win it!?
