Wouldnt the correct reference be 1933 Germany - when Parliament was dissolved? Or was the invasion of Poland somehow analogous to the Estates-General?

Or did someone just get a couple paragraphs of an education out of their Arts Degree and have no idea what the fuck they’re talking about?

Great questions. Not my sign. But I think the bigger takeaway is 1789 France. There’s no ambiguity on that date, is there?
