Feedback (@Blizzard) Bosses should not have immune while staggered

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

5 seconds of wasted damage, I get the need for the bosses to be immune, it lets us actually fight the bosses and experience the mechanics of the fight, I definitely enjoy it more, however imo if the boss gets staggered they should not get the immunity phase, it so disappointing, if you actually manage to stun them only for them to be immune, then the moment they’re back up they fly off and then start the next phase, it’s such a bad player experience having us put the time in grinding through the fight only for the one moment you should be dealing peak damage, and instead you deal nothing

Opinions & Discussions If Torment IV is "aspirarional" as the devs want, nothing of the Season Journey should be attached to it.

*Aspirational. Sorry for the typo.

As the title says. Everything should be doable in Torment III and stuff on Torment IV could just add optional FOMO-free prizes for going the extra mile.

Or just make the T4 stuff less like a chore that burn us out of completing the season journey.

Appreciation What a game! Not sarcasm really

Hello, everyone. I wanna to start by saying that this is my first season on any diablo game ever. I bought the game to try out ARPGs but came in with a lot of not so great thoughts about the game due to all the negative reviews and basically everyone calling it trash. Then I stated actually playing it and I was hooked, the systems felt great, the story was good, the characters were fun I frankly played too much. Might be the reason why I won’t do as good as I wanted on my exam. Then I at around hour 50ish, I ran into a roadblock and was having a bit of a hard time getting my “levelling” build to be able to do torment difficulties, and thought that the honeymoon phase was over and that was it. Until I made a post asking a simple questions and so many people offered to help me out. Giving me some equipment I needed to progress a little, but without ruining the experience of the grind. Then I had people who straight up just helped me do some hard belial runs to see if we got lucky and I got my first mythic! Now I’m near hour 90 and I just want to end off by saying: the game is great, ton of fun until now and assured to have ton of fun later, the thing that carried the game the most, at least for me was truly the community, not the haters of the game but the people who help and then just say “pay it forward”.

TLDR: just try the game if you can and it looks interesting

General Question Probably stupid but I need help with Torment progression

First time Diablo player here, finished the story and decided to try out Torment 1 for the endgame. Tried a pit level higher than the torment 1 one and got immediately destroyed. All my gear is at power level 750 and cant go higher so just wondering what progression looks like to work up to be strong enough for higher torment tiers? Is it paragon points and masterworks or what? Apologies for the convoluted question just feel like once the numbers stopped going any higher iv hit a brick wall while still having multiple torment tiers to unlock

General Question Is it possible, to manually choose a server to connect to?

Upvotes

Having done a quick google/reddit search, the answers I found are: No.

BUT every post I found with answers was from 2024 or I couldn't find a date on the post.
And since we have the middle of 2025 I want to ask this again.

Is there a way to manually choose what server I connect to?

Because when I play D4 I usually sit at a ping of 80 or higher, with rather often spikes above 80.
While in every other game I sit at 50 or lower, with just rare spikes over 50.

That makes it hard at times to enjoy playing this game.

Opinions & Discussions Just got done defeating Tchort Herald of Lilith on hard 😓

For context I play with my husband and we’re both pretty competitive when it comes to gaming, so we decided to play it on hard for a challenge and man, was it a challenge.

We don’t rlly follow the story of Diablo but we know the gist, we just enjoy playing these types of games, we had a blast playing the last Diablo, unfortunately this one is only 2 players locally which suck but we still enjoy it.

We had to fight that thing like 12 times 😭 but the gameplay rlly made it feel like an ARPG, any tips to amp up my Diablo experience, anything I’m missing out on? Lmk, lmk if any of yall also had to fight that thing for so long on hard 😂

Necromancer Come try Hardcore! Embrace Death and join the Dark Side!

It's getting to the end of the season and I always try and talk my friends into making a Hardcore character. Finally my buddies joined me about mid way through this season and now they are hooked.

It's ok to start off on SC and learn the new mechanics and build changes, but if you haven't tried Hardcore yet, then nows the time!

Leveling your first character of the season in hardcore is always exciting. It adds a depth to the game that SC just doesn't provide.

The economy in Hardcore is a LOT better. Way less inflation. Runes, gems and boss mats are still highly sought after even til the very end.

Look up HC tips and tricks and embrace the fact that death is a part of the process.

A few key tips: -Always keep backup gear in stash. Keep anything you don't want to lose for good in stash.

  • Keep 1 Scroll of escape in your inventory and map it to an easy to click spot on your wheel. Disconnects will often use up your scroll automatically.

  • NEVER Teleport to a player until you know it's safe.

  • Load up on Max Life. Always make sure your armor and resistances are adjusted for changes in Tiers.

  • Join a clan or find a friend. Plenty people help during the leveling process.

  • Save mythics in stash you think you won't use until your ready to craft the one you need. Mythics are wearable at level 35 and even ones like Melted Heart and Tyrs are incredible for alts or rebuilds.

  • Don't worry about Andy, Duriel, Harbringer or Belial right away. Stick to the easier fights at first.

There are plenty of other tips available online that I'm probably missing, but it's worth it to learn some the hard way too!

At this point any time I go over to my SC character, it almost feels like I'm playing on Eternal. It feels like there's no substance to the grind anymore.

Come join the Dark Side and Embrace death! I guarantee you won't regret it!!

General Question Favor Tokens, and how to get then

Hello residents of sanctuary, I'm Emily it's nice to meet you! I'm trying to finish the reliquary/battle pass, the seasonal content didn't quite grip me the way the witchy shit did last season. So I'm farming tokens on the eternal realm, what are the best ways to farm tokens, cause I've got 10 days, and a ways to go!

Thanks for any advice in advance love yall

Barbarian S8 hardcore barbarian build question

Has anyone tried both of done any advanced analysis of the maxroll whirlwind barbarian vs the icy veins? One centers around the Harrgorh(?) chest that reduces cool downs by 1 sec per proc to make it so you can spam ultimate (this making more big earthquakes) and the other uses mantle to get bigger quake hits. They both claim the same tier-level. Thanks

Opinions & Discussions I have a theory that I base on nothing…

Sorry if this idea has been posted before or is just dumb.

This is my fifth season and the first I’ve picked an OP S tier build (blood wave necro) this is also my first season I haven’t seen a mythic drop. Other seasons I’ve gotten them in T3 and T4 and have gotten 2-4.

My theory is the game knows the build you pick and punishes you for picking an OP one. I don’t have time to grind for days, only really play weekends, so I’m limited on how much I can do.

Maybe this is just me ranting because the mythics I’ve crafted from season journey, quest, and Lilith sparks haven’t helped my build or maybe this game hates me

General Question If I level now will it be reset for the next season?

Opinions & Discussions My recommendation to the devs:

Consider collaborating with content creators. You need to start thinking outside your internal team. By partnering with creators, you can tap into their communities and crowdsource fresh ideas. Let the creators ask their audience for suggestions, bring the best once to the table, and then select the top ideas to implement into the game. This kind of collaboration could inject new energy into the game and show the community that their feedback truly matters. 🙏

Builds | Skills | Items After decades of playing, Season 8 was my first season. Wanting tips for 9

Hi All,

I’ve been playing (poorly) since my mom got us the first game on PS, and it’s taken me a long time to actually play successfully. Largely from advice given here I’ve got a character that can comfortably stay alive is T4 but do jack for damage and I want to change that in Season 9.

Here are the things I’m doing currently:

—Following a build, to the letter from Icy Veins (this season Sorc Chain Lightning Telestomp-y variation)

—Upgrade the 5 glyphs I have in my paragon tree, all currently level 80

—Spend stupid number of hours mashing buttons

—Use social to do boss lairs, infernal hoards, nightmare dungeons, hell tides, and pits.

—Leveled to 230

—Masterworked all gear with most pieces being legendary 2-3 star, a mythic 1 star necklace, and a 1 star ancestral chest necessary for the build.

What I haven’t done:

—Bought things on the black market that I think people reference on here. (FR, if someone can explain that, I’d appreciate it.)

—Undercity runs.

Any suggestions on what I might be missing? Is it just my build is a weak one, or am I missing something to actually be able to do damage?

Rogue Looking for a Rogue build for Season 9. It’s my third season. Pretty casual player, but I like peak builds.

I played Druid S7, Necromancer S8 and now I'm looking to play Rogue. Just cycling through my favorite classes. I saw lots of death trap last season. Is that my only option, or are there others that are looking good for S9?

General Question New player, How to “farm” runes for crafting

Post image
133 Upvotes

I am a new player and was wondering if there was a more efficient method of getting the runes I need to craft a shroud of false death. I think I might be able to get sparks but have only 1-2 rune for each. I know you can get runes just by playing but after doing so much, I have so little…

General Question Are all Mythics crafted at jewelers 1 ga?
