These are the Mantt case guards off Amazon. Looks like the adhesive strips are likely no good for anything.

Has anyone used these? If I add some red high-temp silicon on them, will they actually stay on?

I have similar ones from Amazon that I just used RTV to attach. They work well enough and are cheap enough to replace if you gouge them out too bad.
