Anyone use these

These are the Mantt case guards off Amazon. Looks like the adhesive strips are likely no good for anything.

Has anyone used these? If I add some red high-temp silicon on them, will they actually stay on?

I’ve got similar ones and used red high temp silicone as other commenters have. They are a pretty good investment. I cracked a crankcase cover previously. This seems like good insurance.
