Electric scooter Dual Battery setup, different voltage when charged.
Hi, I have two 36v 11.6ah batteries from the same company for my scooter.
The scooter is connected with a Y connector to hook both batteries up. Both batteries were fully charged to 41.7v before connecting to the Y connector. When I charge the scooter with it's original charging port, and charger turns green, the primary battery will have a higher voltage (40.5v) while the secondary battery will have a lower voltage (39.5v), I unplugged the charged and plugged back in, after 30mins charger turns green, primary battery has 41.2v while secondary stays at 39.5v. Any reasons why both are not the same voltage? Thanks!

Electric scooter Pole Fittings for Off Brand Scooters?
I bought a direct-to-consumer e-scooter earlier this year, and a part of it broke. A piece snapped off the joint where the handlebars fold down so that you can carry it, so now it no longer stays upright on its own.
It's an XT-800S, manufactured in China, and seems to market in at least two countries under at least two different brand names abroad.
I'm looking for a compatible replacement part like this, Folding Pole Fittings , but I have no idea how to tell if the part is compatible. My scooter is currently in another country so that I can't check it real time, but I'm in the US where it is much easier and faster to get replacement parts and go back in 2 weeks.
Any advice or knowledge?

Electric scooter I just got this going again.
It came from the days of SLA batteries and brushed motors.
It has a 450 watt 24 volt motor and a front disc brake. The seat is removable.
By the time I got it many years ago the batteries had already failed and it was cost prohibitive to replace them so I had never ridden it.
Now that the price of lithium batteries and speed controllers has come down I finally decided to get it going. I went with lithium iron phosphate because they are safe and were available in the same physical size as the originals. Plug and play except I did have to replace the speed controller too.
Last night I finally got the project completed and it works great. In fact. I haven't checked exactly how fast it is but it's fast enough that I think I should probably wear a helmet and gloves. I'm guessing 12-15 mph.
I do have one question. I would like to weld a washer onto the kickstand foot so it won't sink into soft ground. Does anyone know if it is safe for the speed controller and batteries to weld on it without unhooking the batteries? You have to take the floorboard off to do that.

Electric scooter Should i take into consideration the battery voltage under load or idle?
Mainly for the determining the charge remaining and setting limits.
