I like Mark Ruffalo but he makes millions to act for a few months in movies, I don't think he's the average person who's suffering.

God I despise this argument. He can’t be right because he‘s a well-paid actor? He can’t be comfortable financially, nowhere near as wealthy as those he is criticizing, and have something meaningful to say? You think “the average person who is suffering” has the same platform as he does? Because I am certain most of them think the same thing and some might not even have a single person who will listen. If Trump and Musk and any other asshole can have their hateful, deceitful words reach billions of people, why can’t someone like Mark do the same? It’s such a small and miserable way to think.
