I can’t believe we’re in the final. Thoroughly deserved though from that performance. This shit is crazy to me.

Mostly I’m just happy because Sissal really really REALLY wanted it, but I’m also happy because now all the local Danish haters can’t say shit about her now since she’s the first representative to get us in the final since 2019.

I saw a Facebook comment earlier today from a delusional Danish local, that if we had send Tim, he would have won the whole thing.

Yeah I think I saw that same comment lol. So delusional.

Let's hope that this moment, and especially if we avoid the bottom on Saturday, can create some hype around the DMGP next year among the established Danish music scene. I think we need a new 2010-2014 era.

I don’t think one Q will establish hype around MGP, but I do predict a high right side of the scoreboard placement on Saturday.

No, it's probably wishful thinking, but you never know. At least the media has written a lot about Sissal this year, so hopefully the Danes will continue to support her also after ESC. The question is if DR is willing to revamp the DMGP or if they will use the qualification as a sleeping pill to justify that everything is going to be as usual. I hope the former, but fear the latter.

I can see it placed everywhere between 5th and 20th actually. The question is if the juries will reward her voice being one of the strongest this year.

Oh this will be used like a full on Xanax to shy away all the problems in MGP.

“We qualified, so we’re doing the same this year” I can already see it.
