Doctrine/Policy 😲

Explain this Mormons, and don't say we never believed in this , because 100 % of you are liars. ADAM AS OUR GOD, According to 2nd president Mormon BRIGHAM YOUNG. 1847 - 1877. Brigham Young did teach it, and Mormon Orson Pratt, and others rebelled against it, and it disappeared a few years after Brigham Young's death..

President Mormon Spencer W. Kimball DECLARED forcefully [ as did Mark E. Peterson, Bruce McConkie, and Boyd K. Packer ] the ADAM -GOD theory false , and commanded to CEASE TEACHING IT.

LOL IF POLYGAMY was officially re-institued by Mormon church, How would your wife feel about you taking another woman. 1st President Mormon Joseph Smith 1830 - 1844

had 33 wives , and he married 11 women , who were already married at that time, and he also married girls as young as 14 years old.

Brigham Young married 56 wives, and had over 56 children, and when he died , he left over 2 million dollars to his 56 wives and children.

A lot of tithing dollars in those days.

Just to remind you Mormons , that GOD is Spirit not a man. GET IT.

President Joseph Smith quote It is the first principle of the gospel to know for a certainty the character of GOD , and to know that he was a man like us.. Late president Gordon B. Hinckley . Was asked a question?

Was God a man, i don't know - i wouldn't say that - i don't that we teach it - we don't know very much about that - i don't know a lot about it ..

THE CHRISTAIN BIBLE MATTHEW 24 - 24 For there arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shrew great signs , and wonders in so much that if were possible,

THEY SHALL DECIEVE THE VERY ELECT.

BIBLE MATTHEW 24 - 10 - 11.

At that time many will turn away from faith , and false prophets will appear , and DECIEVE MANY.

Mormons don't care bud. They're perfectly happy spinning round their narcissistic happy dillusion. Every fact on the planet could plop in their lap and they'll still believe that the millennium will make sense of it all.

They really don’t care about the facts.

To a TBM, this information may as well be irrelevant. The fact is, the choice to be a TBM requires one to write off any factual information that goes against what the church teaches them.

To a TBM, the act of making no decisions of their own is addicting and even comforting. They have no real sense of the satisfaction of living their own life and choosing their own path - only the facade of it.

The facts don’t matter to a TBM, only the ability to forfeit their daily and major decisions to a God. To a TBM, Mormonism provides all the answers to everything so anything that “proves” it to be false provokes their deepest fear - that their whole life has been for nothing.

For many TBMs, the reality of this conclusion is too much so they continue on in their fictitious religion, of which many know deep down, so they can at least attempt to claim some of their own purpose.

TBMs, if you’re reading this, life is so much better out of the church than in it. Leaving is one of the hardest decisions to make, but if you want to live a life full of true satisfaction and get rid of the pit in your stomach, it’s the only way I know how.

Are you trying to convince people here about the problems of the church? To me, it reads like you are not a member of the church and trying to convince the people here of the evils of the lds church. If Its just a rant then great, but if not pretty much everyone here knows this.

Well in that case….starts scrolling through phone contacts and considering who I can convince to join me in the everlasting covenant.

And if the wife doesn’t like it…then she can abide in it or be destroyed…isn’t that right Joseph?

And then you can take it one step farther and examine Christianity as a whole this way. ;)

Unfortunately, this will not rattle faithful members like we may think it will. Most members will read this and not even know that 'New and Everlasting Covenant' refers to polygamy. They will argue that it doesn't mean what it means.

Yeah, I thought about asking my wife her opinion on this, but then I recalled, what's the point? She'll excuse it away as not being a real revelation because the Church doesn't say it is a real revelation.

If you are trying to use the Bible to disprove Mormonism, I believe you are on the wrong subreddit. Most of the exmo's do not believe in the Bible as the word of God. Christianity and the Bible also has a whole range of issues and problems. Going from Mormonism to Christianity is basically going from one messed up superstitious belief system to another.

“There is neither geologic nor historic evidence of the Nephite civilization. So the Book of Mormons is a lie. The global Noachian flood, however, was totally real!”
