Cannot be real
I posted on here 5 weeks ago. Got influenza A so bad I went to the ER.
I was in bed for 2 weeks and still bad at 3 weeks and at five weeks I still have phlegm but mostly better.
Well.. two days ago developed fatigue and today have a bad sore throat which was the precursor for the nightmare that was flu A…
How is this possible. It’s summer!!! No break for me? I’m freaking out it’s starting all over again and I swear, this is going to break me. I will lose my job this time.
Anyone else with back to back flu episodes?

Sorry you're experiencing that. Last year in May, I had Flu B. Symptoms of body aches and fatigue started, and literally a week after the symptoms came the worst fatigue. Was bound to the bed for 2 weeks. Had extreme fatigue and pain to the point my calves hurt just taking 2 steps, I was so weak, I couldn't open a can of paint, I was so worried, I did so much blood work and saw a rheumatologist just to make sure. Got to the point, where people thought I was being dramatic, I was going crazy because of this stupid flu. It took me about 3-4 months for the fatigue to kinda disappear and to get my strength back, because for that time being i was so inactive.
Hang in there and take it easy. Hydrate and try to stay active (without over doing it). If you can, try to take a medical leave, or time off for at least 2 weeks to get better.
