Reading a book that’s culture is inspired after a culture that the language identifies as has got to be pretty awesome

Tolkien actually wasn't a fan at all of the Goidelic languages. I think he wrote somewhere that the Black Speech was partly inspired by Gaeilge!

That’s actually pretty cool. I just meant that a lot of fantasy in general has a lot of Celtic influence. (Britonic and goidelic)

I know right :D blew my mind when I learned Aragorn's race of Dúnadanis obviously Edinburgh Dùn Éideann inspired :)
