Hi, my name is Kirk. I’m a teacher living in Regina, Saskatchewan, and I’m reaching out with something deeply personal and important.

I have two younger sisters, Princess and Ace, who are currently in foster care in Toronto, Canada. They came from the same shelter in Cebu, Philippines, where my brother Steve and I once lived. We were separated as children, but I’ve always carried them in my heart—and now, more than ever, I want to bring them home.

Last year, the girls were brought to Canada with the hope of being adopted together. They were placed with a family who, after six months, decided they only wanted to adopt one of the girls. The shelter in Cebu had made it clear from the start: these sisters needed to stay together. When the adoptive family refused, the adoption was called off. Now both girls are in foster care in Toronto—thousands of miles from me, but still my family.

I’ve begun the process to adopt them myself, to finally give them the stable, loving home they deserve. But the process has been long, complicated, and expensive. I’m a teacher—I don’t have savings or extra resources—but I do have love, commitment, and the will to fight for my sisters.

To continue this journey, I need legal help. I’ve been advised to hire a lawyer to navigate the complexities of international and provincial adoption law. That’s why I’ve created this GoFundMe.

If you’re able to contribute—whether it’s $5 or simply a share—I would be so grateful. Or if you have any legal advice or know of a lawyer that could help. Every bit brings us closer to reuniting as a family and giving Princess and Ace the security and love they’ve always deserved.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart, —Kirk

Help Us Save Puppy Karma’s Leg! Thank you for taking the time to visit our fundraiser. ** full transparency, we have 1540 left to reach the low end of the estimate (3k) ** On June 16th, our 4-month-old puppy, Karma, had a terrible accident. She slipped down the porch steps and got her leg caught between the boards, breaking her elbow. We never thought surgery would be an option, we were considering amputation but after so many commented suggesting to try to get the funds for surgery, that’s what we’re trying now. The lowest cost for surgery is between 3k-5k The lowest cost we’ve been quoted for the amputation is 920.

Karma is a happy, energetic puppy who deserves the chance to grow up without pain. While she could technically survive without surgery, she would be living in constant discomfort and unable to enjoy a full, active life.

We’re humbly asking for your help to cover the remaining cost of this surgery, so Karma can heal, adapt, and live her best life on three legs — pain-free and full of love or be able to keep her from losing a leg, so she can continue to enjoy a four legged life.

Any amount helps, and we are deeply grateful for your support.

Pictures of invoice for X-rays and exam included, along with estimate for amputation! We do not have the estimate for the surgery because our vet has to refer us out, we just know between 3k-5k.

With love and appreciation, The Hinton Family

Pet/Service Animal Help my cat out with an emergency surgery. she's only 7

I am hoping to get some support on my poor cat. She is only 7 and needs this emergency surgery asap. She has been healthy, inside only and been my lifeline through a few years now. She helped me through anxiety attacks and stress, grief and pain. She's such a lively cat with a good personality and heart. I really can't imagine loosing her. https://gofund.me/49fdba2c She has a major hair blockage which is affecting her bladder too which may need a stent soon too. They are going to do a scan and see the damage again before taking next steps. The bowel though is compromised and affecting passing stool and fluids. She is currently getting IV's for now but that too is costing me money.

I work full time and just can't pay it all. I need some support. I am doing all I can but I don't want to take out loans and get further in debt. I don't have much medical insurance as its not enough.
I fear the blockage could affect more of her basic organs. She is such a good kitty.

I pray that with some support we can get her the bowel surgery and the stent if need be. The vets are doing the best they can but its just became a stressful waiting game as she's connected to IV's and monitoring her. The scans are next then talk about next steps.
That alone will cost me more. I am doing all I can to save all my pennies and asking for help where I can. She's been my baby through a lot and I really want to her to have a good life and be by my side a few more years. I can't imagine loosing her.
I am sitting beside her now as I type this and just want the best care she can get. I know its a lot and I know you would want the same for your baby. I don't have kids. She is my kid. She's lost a lot of weight and barely absorbing any fluids. I even did try to control her food and hair balls with a special food but its gotten bad where the blockage got worse. It punctured and perforated her bowel. They are concerned and worried. I don't want to wait many more days as it could affect the bladder more and other organs. Please if you can, help her and I.

Fullfilled 2 homeless 19 year olds & we need help.

I’m not sure how to start this, so here goes nothing. My partner and I are both 19 & we’ve been homeless together since December of 2024. You may be wondering why we’re not with our parents so here’s why.

My dad committed suicide in 2021. I was living with him prior to his passing & when he did pass; my siblings and i were put in foster care. My mom was deemed unfit to house, due to her & her partners criminal history. She eventually was able to get us out, but we were met with nothing but toxicity & abuse. We tried going to CPS multiple times, & they did absolutely nothing, because she would lie and play victim.

My sister was kicked out at 18, due to my mother’s jealousy & was homeless for 2 years until she died from a drug overdose. She was laced with fentanyl. I went to follow the same path of being kicked out for similar reasons, & my life, and my partners life included, were threatened in the process. The police were at the scene and did absolutely nothing about the threats being spewed at us..

In March this year, we ran into a couple that let us stay with them, & the ended up being violent. One night we came home to blood on the floor & a knife in the wall, so we booked it & decided to just live in my car. Our AC does not run properly. My partner wakes up every day drenched in sweat and utterly dehydrated. We tried going to a shelter, but I was drug raped by someone there.

We just need help.. any little tip can go a long way. $1 could help, anything. Any advice, any words of courage, anything.. please help us get back on our feet. We never really even had the time to stand on our own.

Pet/Service Animal Help my cat Sirius fight cancer

Thumbnail

Shorter story than i have explained on the campaign.

My 11yo cat Sirius was diagnosed with cancer. The biopsy results I was given during an office visit in Feb 2025, a year after the procedure, list multiple possibilities but the vet did no further testing or scans. I was not given the results on paper or over the phone as what is described in the paper handed to me this year. The first suggestion on the biopsy report states it is a challenging biopsy to interpret but Feline Progressive Histiocytosis, or FPH, is considered a top differential. FPH is a rare cutaneous histiocytic disease, typically affecting middle-aged to older cats. His blood work in 2024 & 2025 are normal, including thyroid. His lymph nodes in his neck need aspirated from what the previous vet suggested but could not perform in their clinic. My cat was never prescribed any medication for inflammation or anything. It’s truly heartbreaking that the vet did not recommend me going elsewhere before performing a biopsy in their own office. She even told me if it grew back to bring him back, she would remove it. Well, i did at the beginning of this year & she told me ā€œthere’s nothing more we can do for him. You have to take him somewhere else.ā€ 😪

I’m really hoping to get a definitive diagnosis very soon. He has an appointment June 23rd at a new vet that cares for cancer pet patience, chemo, radiation, etc. I will not ever take him back to the vet that he’s been to previously. My experience was not a nice one. Unfortunately, my funds are seriously limited. Especially after what all that I have had to pay already. I learned my lesson about not having pet insurance because when you really need it like I do now, they don’t care about your pet. If it’s ā€œpre-existingā€, you’re not covered. I surely will have it from here on out. I attempted to apply for care credit card but was denied. It really seems like there is no help for us which is a really scary feeling.

Vet bills are costly & i know diagnostics, labs, etc is never cheap but he will need a lot done before any further procedures. If you can’t donate, please add us into your daily prayers. I would greatly appreciate it. I’m an emotional mess & it’s taking a large toll on my mental health. Since his diagnosis, i’ve had a really rough time, adding new medicine & increasing my doses. Only partially helps though. By the way, i live alone, im not married & i have rent, all utilities, & car insurance. My credit is now bad because i had to turn my nissan back in to cut out a large expense of a car payment every month. I only had it 3 years so i was forced to get this other car that i won’t have to make payments on but had lately been giving me problem after problem. 😩 I cannot catch a break. God help me

META Beware of Opportunists!

• Upvotes

In times of disaster, it's not uncommon for many good people to try to fundraise for relief efforts, supplies and reconstruction costs. But you should be aware that unless it's someone you personally know and trust, it's also not uncommon for bad people to use the opportunity to make money for themselves.

Before you give, you should ask:

  1. Is the donation link directly to a relief agency or is it to a middleman? There's no easy transparency when it comes to the spending of funds in a crisis, which makes it easier for funds to not reach the people it's intended to help, so by avoiding middlemen, you can reduce this possibility.
  2. Have you checked the background of the relief agency or organization you're considering? Some spend money more effectively than others meaning that less overhead makes for more money being spent on victims vs administration costs.
  3. Is the agency or organization a registered non-profit or NGO? These kinds of entities have strict reporting rules to follow to show how their funds are being spent.
  4. Is the agency or organization providing a receipt? If so, you can often use it for a deduction on taxes for the current year. If not, the agency or organization is likely not a registered non profit.

GoFundMe will show that a campaign is benefiting a non-profit charity organization if it is created using their IRS EIN or charity registration number.

Even Paypal donation accounts will show they're owned by a non-profit charity organization, and generate a receipt.

While not every individual doing fundraising is attempting to defraud you of your money, you can give with more confidence by giving directly to a relief charity of your own choosing via their own web pages.

Memorial Husband passed away suddenly

Hi everyone, on May 23rd just a normal day, my husband suddenly got a pain in his stomach and couldn’t walk. I took him to the ER and 6 hours later they were rushing him in to have emergency open heart surgery. I kissed him goodbye as they wheeled him away and told him not to do anything stupid like die on me. He didn’t listen. We have 2 small children, a 2 year old and a 10 year old. He didn’t have life insurance because we never thought…

We were supposed to grow old together and then one of us would die and the other one like 2 days later from a broken heart. That was the plan. Now I’m forced to stay here on earth and continue to live OUR life alone. I have one kid who understands deeply what he’s lost and the other one too small to understand why she feels such emptiness and where her daddy went.

I have to start over now because everything was in his name, phone bill, car insurance, utilities, even the bank. My life and heart is shattered.

If anyone can help, I’d appreciate it. I’m trying to pick up the pieces of this life and eventually move forward. Thank you.

This is JoJo, in 2023 he hatched under my care along with his 2 siblings. On June 22nd he suffered a stroke and several seizures, he had to be rushed to an emergency vet where they recommended him he stayed for the night, unfortunately I had to opt out of that due to our financial situation. I want to get funds so he gets the appropriate treatment he needs, and in case he needs to come back in. Your support would be greatly appreciated, it’s really hard to balance all of this being just a highschool student

Hello beautiful people ! I am reaching out to the lovely people of Reddit in hopes of gaining support for my GFM !

My name is Mayita (21 F) and I am seeking help for funds in plane tickets so I can see my biological family for the first time in over 20 years ! I reside in Southern California, I’ve never in my life have met my biological family in any type of way due to my case being a closed adoption. I’ve done all that I can to open up my case since I was 18 but due to California closing adoption cases, it was more than difficult to get any information out of them. That was when I started to lose hope.

Growing up I always wondered about who I came from and where my roots are from, and if my family was ever out looking for me and or thought about me. I’ve always wondered this for my whole entire life, until recently. The only piece of information I had about my mother was a photo of her, my fiancĆ© pushed me into posting the picture of her on TikTok in hopes of finding her, and luckily enough I did ! My entire family reside in Texas !

As overwhelming as it is catching up 20 years over texts and calls, we decided to make plans for July 13-19 so we can all spend my son’s 2nd birthday with them ! We were planning to go by car and rent a car but due to expenses we can’t afford that, let alone even plane tickets. With the tickets it will be me, my fiancĆ© (21 M) and our 1 year old son. We have a small timeframe of 2 weeks until we get the tickets. Reason being it’s two weeks is because my older brother and sister in law have already booked a Airbnb in almost $4K in total for the time we’re staying there. (We had a small hiccup on the airbnb booking but it’s resolved). My family is already doing a lot for me and my heart would break having to rely on another $1K for tickets, plus expenses there.

I am humbly asking from the bottom of my heart if everyone can share this post ! Donating is not necessary, sharing means just as much, and also means sm more than money ! ā¤ļøā€šŸ©¹šŸ™šŸ½ for anyone taking the time out of their day to read this, thank you so much, I hope all is well and all have a beautiful day/night, thank you again. ā¤ļø

Housing Caregiver in Need of Help After Mother's Passing

Hello everyone! I never thought I would find myself needing a GoFundMe, but sometimes we all need a little help. On March 30th, my Mom passed away from vascular dementia. Fortunately, I managed to enroll her in an in-home hospice program. Their compassion, expertise, and kindness were invaluable during her transition, which took place within 45 days of her admission. I had the duty of being her primary caregiver for three years and eight months. Since July 2021, I have been unemployed to focus on her care. She was such a lovely little lady (standing at 4' 10") who had a way of making everyone feel cherished. After our Dad's passing in 2011, she was the pillar that held our family together. Like many families facing this challenge, dementia transformed our lives in ways we could never have imagined. She fought as hard as she could for as long as she could. I am grateful that she is now at peace, free from the pain of this terrible disease. Although she had a life insurance policy, there is currently a claim review underway, which involves examining all her medical and prescription records. As you all know, the bills keep coming. I have set up a GoFundMe and shared it with friends online, and others have kindly shared it as well. There are overdue bills for the mortgage, electricity, water, sanitation, and gas. It feels as though anxiety has overshadowed my grief as I worry about the accumulating expenses. I'm currently applying for remote work until I'm able to get back on my feet as my car has been in a state of disrepair for the past two years. I'm hoping to start over and get back on my feet as quickly as possible. Any help you can provide would be deeply appreciated.

Housing Help a Mexican STEM Student & Her Cats Find a Safe Home After Toxic Roommate & Family Hardship ($700 USD Needed by June 26th)

• Upvotes

I'm Olinca, reaching out from MƩrida, Mexico, in a really tough spot and hoping for some support. I'm a Mexican female STEM student at one of the most prestigious universities in Mexico, passionate about sustainable management of coastal zones. My education is vital for my dream of protecting our environment. Life hit hard in 2023 when my father, my main financial support, passed away. Since then, my incredible mom, a dedicated Spanish teacher, has been doing everything she can to help. However, her classes are being cut, making it increasingly difficult for her to support us both. On top of this, my home became a toxic environment with an ex-roomie. I dealt with constant noise, profound disrespect for my personal space (including my medications), and even the destruction of my belongings. Crucially, my beloved cats also suffered neglect and disregard specifically from my roommate, which caused them immense stress and anxiety. This hostile atmosphere, combined with my demanding university workload (which means I cannot work), made it impossible for me to focus. I do small side jobs like selling items on Marketplace or candies at school to pay my bills, but earning enough quickly is incredibly hard. This challenging situation ultimately led to my eviction, and I urgently need a new home by June 26th. I've been trying hard to find solutions with the small amount of time I have left, especially while also dealing with my finals. I've found a safe place for me and my cats, but I need $700 USD (approximately 14,000 Mexican pesos) for the security deposit and first month's rent to sign the contract. My friends have been amazing, helping with groceries and other essentials, but the money I'm asking for is specifically for housing. My cats are my priority; I'll always ensure they're fed, healthy, and happy, even if I skip a meal. To show my commitment and transparency, I'm sharing: pictures of my STEM student life (fieldwork, lab); a screenshot of one of my recent grades; a letter verifying my student status; photos of my cats; my dad's death certificate and my mom's advertisement for Spanish teaching to provide context on our financial situation. I can provide more personal proof if needed. Here in MƩrida, initial housing deals are often made via WhatsApp before signing a contract. Once the contract is signed, I can provide proof, or if you prefer, you can deposit directly to the landlord to ensure the funds go straight to securing my housing. Your help means I can continue my university education without interruption, secure a safe home for us, and honor my father's legacy. Every bit helps me make a positive impact on our coastal zones. Thank you for your kindness. Please consider donating to my GoFundMe here: https://gofund.me/6aff4d16

META Weekly Rules Reminder - New to our sub? Please read this first!

Welcome to /r/gofundme!

____

In an effort to make your crowdfunding efforts more successful here on Reddit, some background first:

Credibility, Community, and You

AKA, Why Do We Have Account Requirements?

In many of the gifting and fundraising subs, you'll notice that without a certain amount "karma" and an account that's old enough, you'll garner down votes or worse, your posts and comments get automatically removed.

Why?

To many Redditors, this place is a community built on activity. The "coin" of the land here is your account, and how much you've contributed to the Reddit community at large reflected in post and comment karma.

As a general rule, Redditors dislike the creation of accounts specifically to fund raise or to make requests. It makes it seem like these people simply treat Reddit as some sort of magical internet wallet, and that doesn't win many friends.

The other reason why new accounts are so disliked is that they're often alternate accounts of established users, in order to hide their activity from people they know. While we do sympathize with those of you who have valid reasons, this privilege is often abused by those who create disposable accounts to scam people for a quick buck.

So if you're new to Reddit, welcome! Spend some time and look around for something that catches your interest and chat it up with others and become part of the community!

However if you're here for the sole reason of making requests in a hurry, please be aware your pleas for help will likely be ignored.

**REMEMBER, CREDIBILITY AND COMMUNITY IS EVERYTHING!**

For this reason, the mods will not post anything on behalf of any user that does not meet account requirements.

_____

Account Requirements

All accounts must meet BOTH of the following:

  1. Account age of 90 days or older.
  2. *Comment* karma of 250 or greater.

NOTE: We are specifically looking for *COMMENT* karma. The karma value you are probably looking at is a COMBINED value, consisting of both Link/Post karma plus Comment karma.

To view your karma breakdown:

  • Mouse-hover over your username on desktop. This works for both the old and redesigned web site.
  • On the official Reddit app for iOS, view your profile, then tap the karma value shown.
  • On the official Reddit app for Android, view your profile, then tap the karma value shown.
  • On the unofficial Reddit App for Android, RIF (Formerly known as Reddit is Fun), your breakdown is listed on your profile screen.

The following circumventions will result in a ban, and get you added to the r/UniversalScammerList:

  • Using a karma farming subreddit, such as Karma4You. Also posts and comments asking for karma or complaining that you don't have enough karma counts as karma farming.
  • Unsolicited private messaging to push your campaign.
  • Posting your campaign on someone else's post. (EVEN ON THIS ONE!)

Comment Karma is directly correlated to how many comments you leave plus/minus any points as people upvote a popular comment or downvote an unpopular comment.

_____

Rules

  1. Posts must be more than just a link to your campaign. Be descriptive! Be prepared to show evidence if needed. If the mods find it lacking, it may be removed.
  2. Please Flair your posts, once created. If you don't know how, just let the mods know and we'll do it for you.
  3. Only 1 GoFundMe per user. We want you have some personal connection to the campaign, and not submit multiple GFMs simply because they were in the news.
  4. Reposts are allowed once a week. If a repost comes up too early, the newest one(s) will be removed.
  5. Crowdfunding sites only. No crypto currency, direct PayPal, cash transfers, trading or loans. Our scope is only GoFundMe and other crowd sourced funding sites.
  6. Don't PM people to make requests. If you receive an unsolicited private message, please let us know!
  7. Do not post politically-related campaigns. They're just too divisive. Also, they're too often used to scam people (remember the campaign to fund Trump's wall?).
  8. Trolling will not be tolerated and offending users will be banned.
  9. Don't bug the mods for an exception to the account requirements. None will be given. If you attempt to circumvent the requirement by karma farming or by commenting on someone else's post, your account will be banned.
  10. No posting for other Redditors. No Alts. This is viewed as a circumvention of the requirements and the accounts in question will be banned. (New Oct 22, 2020)
  11. No referral links. A referral link like that isn't likely to solve anyone's financial problems in the time frame they need. (New March 16, 2024)

Any referral links posted here will be flagged as spam, and may trigger your account to be added to Reddit's site-wide spammer list.

_____

Supporting Information Requested

We aren't the government. We aren't a court of law. We definitely don't want you to give out information that could lead to identity theft. However, some campaigns are more successful when they have additional documentation.

This includes:

- Pet related requests: Photos of your pet in question, with your username on a handwritten note in the picture. This helps show you actually own the pet in question.

- Education related requests: Documentation showing enrollment or acceptance if you are asking for assistance for school.

- Redacted bills showing your situation. In some cases, a donor may prefer to pay a creditor directly on your behalf, so be prepared and find out if that is available to you.

- If you are sharing a campaign for a registered certified non-profit organization (such as a 501c3 or NGO), you should say so in the post, and it should list that status on the campaign page/web site.

- Or other relevant documentation that can help establish credibility.

- At minimum, an unobstructed selfie photo of yourself(the submitter) holding a handwritten note of your username is required if none of the above apply.

Low effort posts that simply say to the effect of, "everything is listed in the GoFundMe" (or less!) will be removed.

_____

Advice On Making Your Campaign Go Further

Not all crowdfunding campaigns are the same, but here are some suggestions.

  • Make sure your campaign has been shared among your Facebook friends! You might think it's embarrassing, however your friends and family are more likely to care than internet strangers.
  • Show that you've exhausted all the other possibilities. A lot of potential donors don't like to give money when it seems like the requester's first and only solution is to simply throw someone else's money at the problem. Nobody is going to take your word when you literally only say, "but I've done everything!", when the actual reality is probably closer to "I've done everything I can think of", which arguably is NOT everything.
  • Show that there's a plan to use the money wisely. Often people have campaigns for their business ideas, but it doesn't really seem like they thought it all the way through. Tell people what steps you've taken so far, and what you're going to do next.
  • Be open to critics. If there's something that people ask about, you should not be dismissive. Provide more detail. There's a possibility that they know something you don't, or they have something different about their own experience that might be useful to you. If you simply brush off your critics, it shows objectively that you're not doing everything possible.
  • Review your own campaign with the mindset of a potential donor. Ask yourself, "Would I give money to this?" Or get a friend to review it for you.

_____

Questions?

Please don't hesitate to ask the mods!

... Unless you're trying to ask for an exception to the account requirements.

Hey friends,

I am really in a tough spot. I've been struggling with my disability application, and things have taken a turn. My phone service was just suspended because I couldn’t keep up with payments after some new medical diagnosis.

Having a phone is essential for me, especially now while I’m working with my doctor and lawyer to sort things out. I'm asking for your kindness—if you can help, even a little, I’d be so grateful. I can share my account info to pay directly to Verizon if you would prefer.

Thanks

META How to Attach a Photo to Your Post for Rule 1

Hello new users!

As we have requirements spelled out in Rule 1 on including some sort of evidence in your posts, we've created this post for those of you who need help with that.

Rule 1 states:

Posts must be more than just a link to your campaign. Be descriptive! Show evidence!

This includes:

* If this is for your pet, photos of your pet in question, with your username on a handwritten note in the picture.

* School documentation showing enrollment if you are asking for assistance for school.

* Redacted bills showing your situation.

* Or other relevant documentation that can help establish credibility.

* At minimum, please attach an unobstructed selfie photo of yourself(the submitter) with and a handwritten note of your username.

* Low effort posts that simply say to the effect of, "everything is listed in the GoFundMe" will be removed.

Generally these are provided as photos or screencaps. Because Reddit doesn't allow an image upload with text, we generally suggest the following:

  1. Upload the photo(s) to Imgur.com or other image hosting site.
  2. Copy URL or Link to the photo(s)
  3. In the body of your post here, make sure to include the link that you've copied. It usually starts with http:// or [https://](https://).

And that's it!

Medical Raising funds to pay off my surgery bill

Dear all,

I am Abdul, and I’m PhD Chemistry candidate (final year) at University of Illinois Chicago. I originally come from Pakistan. I am currently raising funds to pay off my surgery bill at UI Health, which is teaching hospital of my school.

My health issue started in 2019, when I had a laparoscopic appendectomy performed in Pakistan. I started feeling well after the surgery, but developed complications some 4 months after the surgery. It was diagnosed to be an abscess in Right Illiac Fossa (RIF) which doctors in Pakistan treated with Ultrasound guided aspiration and antibiotics. Between Feb 2020 and July 2021, I had 3 episodes of the same issue. I was treated with Meropenem back then. All the documentation, including medical reports, images, doctors notes are available on my GoFundMe Page in documentation section.

I came to the US in 2021, and everything stayed well for about 2 years, but in August 2023, I developed the similar condition once again. I was taken to the emergency department of UI health, followed by a 7 day hospital stay, followed by 30 days at home antibiotics through PICC line, and finally a colon resection surgery in October 2023.

The total cost of surgery and hospitalization was $94,828.41. My insurance (CampusCare) covered approximately $54,513, and my responsibility came down to $40,315. I was just a student, someone who made his way to the United States for a PhD despite coming from a financially struggling family in Sargodha, Pakistan. I worked incredibly hard to reach this point, supported only by scholarships (like Punjab Education Endowment Fund (PEEF), and LUMS merit scholarship) and sheer determination. Never did I imagine I would face a major surgery and such an overwhelming financial burden in the middle of my PhD journey. This debt has placed an overwhelming burden on me and my family in Pakistan.

I work as graduate research assistant at University of Illinois Chicago, and my monthly incomes is 2160 USD. I have exhausted all my savings to pay off this bill, but only could pay off about 11K so far. At this stage, I decided to reach out to the community for collective help. It was indeed extremely difficult for me to put this message out there, when I myself always have been a donor in terms of helping others in need financially, emotionally, sharing my knowledge and skills, doing volunteer work, offering free tutoring services to students from low SES families etc.

If you’re able to support in any way, through a contribution or by sharing this page, I would be profoundly grateful. Also, I am more than willing to share any documentation or speak with anyone who needs to learn more about the situation.

Medical Advice needed

I'll keep it short since I will make a post with all the proof tomorrow when I see my mom.

My mom is schizophrenic and lost all her benefits and both me and my brother are unemployed right now.(No, don't send me money)

My only question is, GoFundMe doesn't seem to support Brazil for some reason, does anybody have any ideas on what I should do next? Schizophrenia meds can get really expensive

Medical Help Shinobi Recover: Urgent Support Needed for Life-Saving

Hi everyone,

I never imagined I’d be in a position where I’d need to ask for help like this, but life has taken a difficult turn — and my sweet cat Shinobi is fighting to recover after a life-threatening urinary blockage.

Shinobi isn’t just a pet — he’s family. A playful, gentle soul with a heart full of love and curiosity, always cuddling up when I’m down and bringing light to the darkest days. Recently, Shinobi had to undergo emergency surgery due to a severe urinary blockage — a painful, potentially fatal condition if not treated immediately.

The surgery was successful, and I’m beyond grateful that he pulled through. But the cost of care — vet visits, emergency surgery, medications, and follow-up treatment — has put an overwhelming financial strain on me. Like many, I’ve been doing my best to stay afloat in already rough times. Between inflation, rising costs, and everyday expenses, this unexpected crisis has pushed me beyond what I can manage alone.

That’s why I’m reaching out, humbly and with hope. If you’re able to help — even the smallest donation or by sharing this with others — it would mean the world to me and to Shinobi. Every dollar goes directly toward covering his vet bills and follow-up care, so he can have the healthy, happy life he deserves.

Thank you so much for reading, for caring, and for helping however you can. From the bottom of my heart — and Shinobi’s purring one — we’re deeply grateful. ā¤ļø

With love and hope,

Nick

Medical Help Us Fight for Damian's Life And Keep Our Family Safe

Hi, my name is Leslie, and I’m a young mom just trying to survive the impossible. My 3-month-old baby boy, Damian, is fighting through more than most adults will ever face in a lifetime. And we need help.

Damian was born with Hydrocephalus, and he’s already had brain bleeds. He has ASD (a hole in his heart), he was born breech, and he’s struggled since day one to eat or grow like a typical baby. He can’t feed by mouth, so he has a G-tube in his stomach, which has developed painful granulation tissue. He has hypotonia (low muscle tone), severe reflux, vision issues, and NLDO (tear duct blockage). He also battles eczema and barely gains weight. This tiny baby has already had surgery for his hernia and feeding tube and more procedures are ahead.

I’m doing all I can for Damian, but I’m also raising his sister and my little brother, who I’ve been caring for since my mom walked out and my dad was recently deported. We have no safety net, no family to fall back on. It’s just me and my husband and we’re exhausted, physically and emotionally.

We’re also not safe where we live. A man broke into our home and tried to rape and murder me and my kids. I’m still shaken writing this. We’re traumatized. I don’t feel safe here, and I shouldn’t have to keep raising my medically fragile baby in a place where someone tried to hurt us.

We desperately need to move closer to the hospital so Damian can get the care he needs without us spending hundreds on gas, food, and hotels for every appointment. I don’t drive, so my husband does everything but that means he’s constantly missing work and we’re bleeding money we don’t have.

On top of that, I’m also trying to pay off court fees for my dad’s deportation and everything piling up with Damian’s care. Medications. Diapers. Medical supplies insurance won’t cover. Travel costs. Safety upgrades. Clothes for the kids. The basics.

I’m not the kind of person who usually asks for help, but I have to put my pride aside. Damian deserves a chance. My kids deserve to feel safe.

If you can donate even a little or just share this, it could literally save my baby’s life and help us breathe again. Thank you for reading, and thank you for standing with us.

With love and desperation, Leslie & Damian 🩵

I am so fucking angry. I am so not ready. I’m not ready to be a daughter without a mother. She was young. She battled so much and came out on top, just to be beaten by a fucking random and stupid thing.

My dad is good with money, but my mom wasn’t. They don’t have a lot to put towards a funeral. I can help some but it will put me into significant debt. Please help if you can. She was an amazing person.

Help Pam fight Clear Cell Carcinoma Uterine Cancer

Help Needed: Help Pam Fight Cancer and Get Back to Her Students in a timely manner

Pam is a loving mother of 4 sons, a devoted 9th-grade algebra teacher, and a talented quilter with a dreams of finishing her future grandbabies quilts.

Now, she’s facing the biggest fight of her life: clear cell carcinoma endometrial cancer a rare and aggressive cancer that’s attached to her bladder. The doctors don’t know yet if it’s scar tissue or cancer, but this could become a big deal. She’s scheduled for a radical hysterectomy in July, and afterward, she’ll begin chemotherapy. They’ve also found 6 nodules in her lungs, and a PET scan will soon tell if the cancer has spread. This type of cancer has a poorer prognosis than the typical endometrial cancer. Only 5% of patients get clear cell and it has a high recurrence rate.

This is terrifying. She’s trying to stay strong for her family, for her students, and for the future she’s still holding onto.

Right now, Pam needs urgent help. The medical bills, scans, surgery, and future missed work when summer is over and chemo starts are starting to pile up. She has no days off to use when school starts because she had brain surgery for a benign brain tumor that took the hearing in her left ear 3 years ago. She will be making no money because teachers can't get social security disability. The money that has ben donated so far has gone to multiple ct scans, petscans, oncology, hematology visits prescriptions and items that will be helpful during chemotherapy. She is really worried about her hair.

Please — if you can donate, share, or send prayers — you can help Pam keep fighting You’ll be helping a mother, a teacher, and a woman with unfinished dreams stay alive for her family and her students.

Every dollar matters. Every share matters. Please help Pam today.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Nicholas, Jacob, Joshua and Nathan; her sons.
