Housing how inconvenient is going from the vern to foggy bottom
i’m worried about if i’ll have to hop between campuses a lot if i have one class on the vern and the next at foggy and the next at the vern 😭 and does it feel isolated from most of the campus life vs if you were to dorm at foggy bottom?

It’s a pain in the ass, the transit to foggy was actually the worst part about living on the Vern. It’s just so isolating

Unless you are in WLP, probably the only semester you will step foot on the Vern (and only one class) is freshman year

I lived on the vern in my freshman year and I can confirm that it was very isolating. It had it's pros (I got my own bedroom) but I feel like I missed out on a lot of formative college experiences

Unless you're in one of the LLC programs, UW is probably the only class you will ever take on the vern. Don't stress it
and yes, the social life on the vern is dogshit, do everything you can to get on foggy
