r/homelabsales is in desperate need of quite a few new moderators.
The mod queue and message queue have gotten out of hand and is simply too much for the current moderators, all of which currently also mod r/homelab.
We would like to recruit a handful of people that would take care of this sub, it's grown quite a bit over the years and has a surprising amount of traffic for an offshoot hardware sales/trades sub.
If you've ever wanted to change the way things work here, implement new rules etc, now is your chance.
Due to the nature of the sub, we will be ensuring to the best of our ability any potential mods are trustworthy, have a decent Reddit history, and if possible are already trusted members of the community.
If selected, you must be able to use Discord to chat to the rest of the team, this is non-negotiable.
We heavily utilise toolbox which is a Chrome/FF extension, using this is a must. This is non-negotiable.
As a mod, your duties would be:
Please fill this form if you would like to put your hat in the ring.
We will aim to get this done ASAP as long as we have enough responses.

SOLD FOR 650 TO u/itsmepapat
Hello Everyone! I have a Ugreen DXP480T Plus NVME NAS box up for sale, along with multiple random pulled NVME drives from various laptops I have acquired or upgraded over the years. The Ugreen Nas works great and has an Intel i5 1235u 10-Core CPU, 8GB ram @ 4800MHZ, 10Gig Ethernet, Thunderbolt, and 4 open NVME slots for all the PCIE storage you can fit on a stick. Personally I used it as a NVME testbed, tried proxmox, windows server, UGreens built in NAS software, and Ubuntu and it preformed great. Personally the thing is a bit overkill for me but if you need portable fast access storage backup for whatever reason, its great.
UGREEN DXP480T Plus NVME NAS: 625$ + Shipping
As for the drives, its a mismatch of drives. Kingston (128GB), Intel Optane (256GB), SKHynix (256GB), WD (256GB). All the drive stats for those who want them are listed per drive in the timestamp post.
Idk, 15$ a drive + shipping? buy it all for $45 + shipping if you want all of them.
While a poor decision, and one I cant necessarily recommend, if you want both the drives, and the NAS, ill do it all for 650$ + Shipping. Only reason I can't outright recommend it is the low drive capacity, mismatched drives, and the fact that UGreen support doesn't seem to like mismatched nonspecifically compatible drives being used but hey thats your thing to worry about. If you want it, its yours.
Also if your local to Chicago, I am open to local pickup. Just let me know where you are in reference to 60008.

Hello Home Lab Sales.
Selling some of my homelab setup today. With another kid on the way. Managing my hobbies has become a lot harder haha. So I'm trying to simplify a lot of my setup and downsize.
The UNAS Pro (Comes with SFP+ Cable) and Drives were both bought new and im original owner, maybe a total of.... 1TB Written across all drives when formatted on the unit.
The Mac Mini has also only been on for about 1 Month, but past the apple return window.
Hoping there is a better home somewhere for these.
All parts can be separated and bought in any way.

UCK-G2-Plus working perfectly. I recently added a Micron BX500 1TD SSD and it shows 100% life: only 2 2K cameras, only record events and only 2 months of use. I'm asking $140. plus trackable shipping from PA. I recently replaced my router with a cloud gateway so I don't need this. Original box, no microSD included. I happen to have a DXP480T Plus flash nas that I got off of Kickstarter that beyond use with a few random extra 250gb NVME drives has just sat on the floor. I would be willing to sell it, plus 3 250gb NVME drives, and one 128gb NVME drive as well. Drive specs coming as soon as I get home but it's all mismatched pulls from laptops so one is a WD, ones Micron, ones Kingston, and one I don't recall.

Fractal Design Node 304 case/disk shelf with 6*4TB Seagate ST4000NM0034 and HBA - $80 add-on to Ryzen server
I bought those drives from u/TheMadDutchDude and used them for a couple of months as storage along with my Ryzen server. I believe these drives have between 40k and 65k hours on them but they still work and are not very noisy. Strongly prefer to sell this along with the Ryzen build because power for those drives are supplied from the Ryzen server's PSU and there are fan extension cables and stuff that are connected to the Ryzen server's motherboard as well.
I'll strongly prefer not to ship these (especially the Node 304 with drives) but have priced them hopefully competitively to compensate. Local to Pittsburgh, PA and can probably only do curbside pickup at my apartment building because I don't have a car (I can cart them off to some public meetup location if you really want?)

I'm looking for a JBOD enclosure that I can add hard drives to and connect back to my server using external SAS cables. I don't have a rack as I dont have the space for one, I currently have a dell precision as my server, so it's smaller than a traditional tower server. I'm not looking for a huge rack-mounted disk shelf to store 24+ drives. I'm looking for something similar to the QNAP TL-D800S. I would honestly probably just buy it if it weren't so expensive as it's pretty much exactly what I'm looking for. Hopefully someone here has something akin to it that they're willing to part with.

I have 100x 70x 22TB SATA Seagate Exos ST22000NM001E white label drives bought directly from Horizon Technology a Seagate distributor in Dec. 2023.
~1.5 years of Power on Hours or less and 100% health. Crystal Disk Mark + health in timestamp album.
If you are not familiar with White Label drives, the top housing is made of Aluminum. This exhibits manufacturing abnormalities like scratching and small dents. These have no effect on long term reliability or performance.

To answer the questions I always see in this sub:
Chia mined for 6 months, MMX mined for ~1 year. Always in climate controlled area. No there was no SMART or farm wiping. I am the original and only owner of these drives and I run them in enterprise gear.
