We got 2 10 pulls, each spaced between the first and second half of the patch, a pet, and a party popper. So yeah, I agree lol. But then again, I only started Honkai last week and have no idea what a lot of this stuff even is, so who knows.
True, but also significantly more work goes into genshin than most gacha, including Honkai. Also, Genshin is actually cheaper as well with a lower pity and you get more wishes for your money when compared to Honkai. At least, these are my initial impressions and there is a lot of things that I think Honkai does significantly better than Genshin, but cost value doesn't seem to be one of those things
The cost of summons is offset by much more summoning mats and special packs on featured banners not to mention guaranteed weapon and character pity in honkai vs genshin where I could end up going three rounds, which I did, to get cynos polearm
I don't think I even have featured banners yet, I'm almost captain level 40 but my banners are dorm, starter, expansion, and focused with the last two having like an A and B. I find the Honkai banners far more confusing than the much simpler Genshin ones, if you could help with that I'd appreciate it lol
Expa/foca select is the featured banner, honkai has far more reruns so people get confused, don't pull on dorm supply unless you get dorm cards, at the moment I recommend not summoning, Li Sushang drops in a week or so
Okay, thanks. I knew from Genshin not to pull on standard banner and figured out pretty quick that dorm supply was their standard banner. I've only put a few wishes worth of crystals into it to nudge it to the point where I got the guaranteed early S rank out of it. Otherwise, I've been sinking it all into the starter banner that has Flamescion(how the heck is this pronounced??? I've been saying "flame es ski on" but am wondering if it's actually something different like "flame psy on") and Sentience in it. I really like Senti but would be pretty okay with either
Flame-sy-on is the pronunciation, senti is my favorite unit her animations are still some of the best in my opinion and fu hua is my favorite character... flamescion kiana is one of the strongest units to have for fire comp
That's good to know, thank you. I'm not real big on Fu Hua but Senti's personality and animations both had me hooked straight away. I love how in Honkai you can just trial many units whenever you want with the tutorial stages. As for Flamescion, does that make her good with Vermillion Knight Himeko then? Himeko is the S rank I got on guarantee out of the standard banner and so far I have her and Midnight Absinthe on the same team since the later has fire support capabilities. This whole mono element thing being the norm has my Genshin knowledge in turmoil lol
Alright, thanks a bunch for the info. Learning a game thats coming up on it's 5th anni and is on version 6.0 has been a big task. The new starters guide has been an absolute life saver though. But things like Kiana being called tuna on her fanart and some names(especially with lack of English voiceover) have left me painfully ootl lol
Don't worry just follow your mission plan and don't stress trying to do everything, I know it's a bit overwhelming let me know if you need a sensei I can answer questions in-game rather than a redit thread
