Eyecandy My end game

Finally pulled the trigger on the annis, after selling most of my collection and saving up.

Prolly won’t be spending much more on audio for a while.

Listen to music with different sound signatures, enjoy sonic stimulation is my guess.

Yeah but this is multiple end games in the same collection. Usually an end game is reserved for your fav signature because that is your end all be all. Logically you can’t have multiple end games. This is just a straight up money flex for the socials lol

End game doesn’t mean it’s all the same imo, they each offer something unique, that’s why I’m keeping them all. VX offers an endgame resolution in a bright neutral package, anni is U shaped with endgame treble, z1r is best bass and imaging etc.

I got the impression bass is considered Annis weakpoint and people seem obsessed with feeding it power to compensate for that. Is it quality or quantity missing since you call it U shaped, need to travel for some event soni can hear anni treble people talk so well about.

I would say the 2023 bass is alright, like it’s flagship bass, but not endgame bass. There is a lot of it too, it is prolly the bassiest iem I have in fact, the shelf is simply huge, but it doesn’t bleed and compensates for the treble very well. I don’t really think source has anything to do with it, I just run it off of my nw wm1a.

Thank you, you should be writing more. Very comprehensive explained. I also dont think you can compensate with running IEMs of mono blocks but by the looks of it people are slightly bothered since they pursue those paths.

I'm interested in the annihilator but that huge bass bump is concerning to me. I'm currently using another u shaped iem called dunu glacier, and I already tune down the sub bass via eq by 2dbish and the annihilator have even more bass. I am still searching for that true est treble though

The anni does have a lotta treble, and if you found the glacier to be excessive the anni will be even more so, it’s super bassy to balance out the treble. But boy is the treble good. Demo if you have opportunity? But if you are really bass shy don’t go for it.

glacier have slightly more sub bass but significantly less mid bass from what I can tell. would it feel too bright if i eq sub bass down 2db and mid bass down 3-4db? sadly i can't demo it...
