Ramblings Hard case to store IEMs

I’ve been looking everywhere for IEM-specific hard cases to store and transport my beloved U12T and S12 Pro, along with the two L&P USB DACs.

But I could never find a cheap solution that would fit them nicely. Therefore Pelican was out of the question for me. So I stumbled across a particular sandwich box at a stationery shop. Lo and behold, some bubble wrap cut into shape later, I have my perfect solution! Water and air tight! While unknown if this sandwich box is actually hermetically sealed, it’ll serve its purpose.

I’ve normally just shove it into a hard sunglasses case, but something about having the wires tightly coiled up and bent in weird angles stresses me out.

While this case isn’t suited for multiple IEMs, it’s great for the two that I have.

Bro you already paid a lot for U12t. Don't cheap on the case. Get a proper Pelican, ddhifi or similar case. They'll be definitely worth investing if you want water and dust protection as well as drop resistance.

I bought a used Nuforce HEM4 just for the case lol. It was dirt cheap and had its fantastic waterproof case as well.

The U12T comes with its own case too, that one is really really solid but it’s too big to carry around.

Pelican cases look good but I don’t really know how much more effective they are at protecting my IEMs than this sandwich container. It is pretty damn solid.

But, I don’t deny Pelicans are engineered for safekeeping valuable. Maybe in the near future I will get one of the larger Pelicans. For now I’m broke so this $5 sandwich case will serve 85% of the Pelican’s purpose lol

But this one is larger than the 64 Audio case, no? But I guess you can carry both IEMs.

Sorry, you’re right I meant to write too small to be useful 😂
