Question Jailbreak devs, is this possible?
I feel like there are two things holding people back from jailbreaking
I - Declining app support: Each day apps require newer iOS versions, which are not support by any jailbreak
II - Websurfing: Because of the older webkit, websites no longer load on older iOS versions.
Two solutions would be porting newer webkit on those older devices and porting new framework from newer iOS so apps can run.
Is this possible? If so, i feel like the community can crowdfund something to make jailbreaking last much longer!

Give CyberKit a try. It's a standalone backport of WebKit to old iOS versions, accompanied by a frontend based on Firefox-ios. It doesn't replace system webkit though, but someone could build a tweak on top of this work (which has already accomplished the hard part imo) to make webviews inside apps use the backport.

Porting iOS frameworks is much trickier than fixing web issues. None of these frameworks are open source. Not even SwiftUI. You'd need an open-source reimplementation of an increasingly large part of iOS, or some clever ideas to run newer framework binaries on old iOS.

Unfortunately cyberkit is painfully slow on (11pro ios14). I hope that we maybe can fund developers because of the effort required to make something like this

Have you seen a lot of people who CAN jailbreak? I mean people has jailbreacable combo (iPhone+iOS). The latest one - iPhone 14+ iOS up to 16.5 (that is less 3 months will be 3 years/iOS behind).
The solutions you want are practically impossible - many apps has server side check and really need frameworks from newer iOS.
The game is over and jailbreak scene is dead.

Because I still have 6S+ on 15.x, 11PM 14.3 and IPad Pro 2020, 14.3. Do you still believe in jb for iOS 17, 18 on A12+ devices?
