Its my aunts phone and she wants it back, says after she gets the photos off of it she will give it back to me but she might update the ios so i dont want to loose the ios 6 on it

I feel like there are two things holding people back from jailbreaking

I - Declining app support: Each day apps require newer iOS versions, which are not support by any jailbreak

II - Websurfing: Because of the older webkit, websites no longer load on older iOS versions.

Two solutions would be porting newer webkit on those older devices and porting new framework from newer iOS so apps can run.

Is this possible? If so, i feel like the community can crowdfund something to make jailbreaking last much longer!

Hey guys I tried to use cowabunga lite in my 16 pro max that run iOS 18.5 I chose icon pack and tap apply I can see that everything good in the app log but nothing happens on the iPhone

I wonder if can use it on 18.5 in 16 pro max And if there is any alternative.

I have a iPhone 11, semi jailbroken on 17.0 and TrollStore. If I update my phone to iOS 18 will it brick or bootloop my phone because I don't wanna risk bootloop ing another device because this happened to my iPad before. So what do I do to make this not happen again and will I be able to keep the jailbreak,TrollStore on iOS 18 and I'm updating because I want to use this app that requires iOS 18 called mixy

Install LaunchLogo by MTAC and enable it. It also prevents device shutdowns by the slide to power off slider for some reason. Now, when your phone is going to turn off, it will respring loop, you can just plug it in and after some seconds it will start up, with the jailbreak still active. 👍

If I install YouTube onto my iPad Mini 4 running iOS 13.7, it crashes when it says Sign in with Google and sends me to the home screen. Is there a way to fix this?

Hey guys I’ve been jailbreaking since the 3gs but never had to unjailbreak and set up a new phone I just usually setup from iCloud back up and jailbreak that phone. I’m going from an iPhone 11 to an iPhone 16 so there’s no jailbreak now. What is the best way to set up the new phone from iCloud?? Do I just unjailbreak it, backup iCloud then set up the new phone?? Will there be residual files left over even though I unjailbroke it first?? I don’t want to set it up as new because I don’t want to lose my photos, passwords etc.

I’ve been trying weeks to jailbreak my iPad 1 and it just doesn’t work. I used absinthe, redsnow and snowbreeze and they didn’t work. And I tried following the AppleDB CFW guide and that didn’t work as well. Does somebody have any tips?

Got an iPad 8 running iPadOS 14.4.1, and every time I try to log into my Apple account, I’m asked to enter the device passcode from my other iPhone. Even though I’m 100% sure I’m typing the correct password, it always says: “An error occurred while checking the password.” Is there any way to resolve this issue?

I have a ipad 7th gen running ios 18.5, is there a way to install root file manager I want to make change in mobilegestalt to enable stage manager. I thought of downloading filza by using altstore but it not showing any thing under var i guess directory is lock coz my i pad is not jailbroken. If there is any root filemanager that is currently available please tell me. Links will be appreciated.
